Chapter Text
The city of Kamino is filled with dingy little hole in the wall bars. The entire ward, while not exactly a crime-infested cesspool, is comparatively gloomier than places like Tokyo. That, Dabi assumes, is why the League of Villains set up shop here. Building a hideout in a Ward more or less abandoned by hero-society seems right up Tomura Shigaraki’s alley. The collection of villains were sitting idle around the bar, waiting for their leader to show up and give them the go ahead. The blue-haired man-child walked out, taking a place behind the bar, his personal Warper Kurogiri acting as his shadow. The hand-covered leader of the League of Villain’s leaned forward on the bar, taking stock of his forces.
“You all understand your roles in this, right?”
Dabi quirked an eyebrow, taking a slow drink of his whiskey, as he examined the rag-tag crew they’d assembled. A bunch of psychopaths, a child, and a whole host of biological weapons. The fire-user wants to snort. He’s pretty sure he and the magician bastard are the only sane people in this room, but they’re still in this room, so what does Dabi know? Maybe they’re all crazy. Tomura continued forward, ignorant of Dabi’s inner-monologue.
“Moonfish, Mustard, Muscular, you’re patrolling the forest, hunting down and killing any brats or teachers you run into. Mr Compress, you’re also in the forest, but you’re specifically searching for our targets. you’ll be assisted by Nomu, try to stay out of their way, it’s hard for them to tell friend from foe sometimes.”
Mr. Compress, a magician wearing a mask, tips his hat in understanding, the child, a boy with a Mustard Gas quirk, harrumphed, before putting on an oversized gas mask. Dabi wonder’s if his gas is flammable. Moonfish, some fuckin lunatic in a straight-jacket with knives for teeth, jibbers uselessly in the corner, out of everyone in the room, that guy is who gives Dabi the creeps. Finally Muscular, a large, one-eyed guy with some type of muscle-enhancement quirk, grins savagely, cracking his knuckles.
“You won’t mind If i rough up the VP’s, if I find one, do you, Boss? The explosive one looked like fun.”
Tomura scowled, shaking his head
“You’re especially not allowed to fuck up Bakugou, Muscular. You have a Kill-List for a reason, stick to it.”
Muscular huffed, but leaned backward, compliant, for now. Tomura turned to the next group to give them their orders.
“Magne, Spinner, you’ll be harassing the Wild Wild Pussycats, The Nomu have been programmed to hunt down and capture Ragdoll specifically, but you two keep an eye out for her as well.”
Magne, a large woman who seemed to be carrying a steel girder over her shoulder, nodded, while Spinner, a man with a lizard-mutation with a gigantic sword, frowned in thought
“What happens If we run into The Future of Japan? We all know Endeavor didn’t actually take down Stain, I joined The League to avenge The Hero Killer, and those brats are the most likely culprits.”
Tomura Scowled even harder, the man-child's hands began to twitch slightly, and Dabi was almost afraid he was gonna reach out and disintegrate Spinner for bringing up the vigilante’s in the first place.
“If any of you run into a member of the Future of Japan, you are highly advised to kill them on sight. Ignore any other person on The Kill-List in favor of those brats. Especially the green-haired one.”
Dabi finally couldn’t help himself, he chuckled and shook his head, looking away. Tomura’s gaze whipped to his direction, the man-child giving Dabi an Icy look.
“Would you like to share with us what you find so amusing, Dabi?”
Dabi snorts, shaking his head, even as he gave his ‘leader’ a bemused expression
“Ah it’s nothing, Boss, I just can’t help but find your optimism amusing, that’s all.”
Tomura definitely wanted to murder him now, Dabi was sure of it, his finger’s were twitching like crazy.
“Explain.”
Dabi smirks, raising an eyebrow, before shrugging.
“I’m just saying, your track-record with these guys ain’t so great, right?”
Tomura remained icily quiet, watching Dabi like a hawk, the scarred man pressing further.
“If these kids show up tonight, it’d be the third time you’ve run into them right? Once at the USJ, and once in Hosu, and they beat you, Twice.”
Twice, a man with a cloning quirk in a spandex uniform, looked up, looking back and forth between Tomura and Dabi
“Did someone say my name? I didn’t hear a thing!"
Tomura and Dabi ignored the man with dual-personalities, their focus entirely on each other.
“Those were flukes.”
Dabi laughed again, looking out around the crowd of villains
“A fluke? You brought an army of thugs, as well as seemingly the strongest Nomu you’ve ever produced, and Izuku Midoriya and his team ran through them like buzzsaws.”
Tomura reached up and began to scratch his neck violently, clearly enraged
“We wreaked havoc in Hosu! Dozens of heroes dead! Even more civvies!”
Dabi leaned forward, his own body beginning to smoke, as he sensed a fight.
“And how many of those heroes were in the top 10? In-fact, didn’t you lose a Member during that attack? If Stain was ever even a member of The League in the first place!”
Dabi glanced back, and saw some of the villain’s interest peek at that, Spinner’s eyes widening, the man never even seemingly contemplating the idea that Stain never actually joined the league. Tomura growled, his hand actually beginning to disintegrate the bar countertop now.
“He was ours, It wasn’t fair, they cheated!”
Everyone was tense now, everyone expecting a fight, when finally the tension was broken by the TV behind the bar turning on, a deep voice speaking through it.
“Please, you all have a mission, fighting amongst yourselves beforehand would be…counter-productive. ”
Everyone froze, even Tomura, upon hearing the voice. Ice filled Dabi’s veins. That was Tomura’s Sensei? His mere voice sent chills down the scarred man’s spine. Tomura finally stood up straight, seeming to have composed himself. He gave Dabi a blank look.
“Dabi, Twice, you’re together, stick to the cliffs, burn down the forest, and have Twice send clones of you to the Lodge.”
Dabi raised his chin, but didn’t argue, leaning back and crossing his arms. Once upon a time, a team like the League would’ve been heaven-sent in Dabi’s eyes. A group like these chuckle-fucks is the perfect opportunity to finally strike back at Endeavor, but nowadays…nowadays Dabi’s priorities have shifted, slightly. So yeah, he’ll play Tomura Shigaraki’s games, and he may even find a chance to pull the rug out from under dear old dad, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t aiming to also burn down the League of Villain’s while he’s at it, he’s multi-faceted like that.

Izuku Midoriya’s boots touched down onto the soft earth last, the green-haired boy closing the Warp Gate behind them. The boy took a deep breath, savoring the smell of the forest around them, sighing contently. The Forest of Beasts was quiet, save for the sound of the wilderness around them, and their own breaths. Izuku closed his eyes briefly, preparing himself, before he opened them, and turned toward his girls, all of them in their gear. Izuku tapped the Comm-Link in his ear.
“Haywire, Freya, do you read me?”
Melissa Shield’s voice answered him smoothly, the blonde-haired former I-Island resident has taken her position alongside Mei Hatsume as technical support flawlessly. Melissa has not just brought her knowledge, but cutting-edge futuristic technology to their missions.
“This is Freya, we read you loud and clear, Viridian. You all are clear to set up our…do I really have to call them babies, Haywire?”
Izuku could hear a faint, enthusiastic, ‘Yes!’ in the background, making him chuckle, followed by Melissa’s long-suffering sigh.
“You’re clear to set up our babies, then we’ll be as good as gold.”
Izuku chuckled again, before he nodded, letting go of his comm-link, he turned to address his team.
“Alright, girls, it’s showtime. Hela? Time for setup.”
Momo Yaoyorozu nodded, and took out three blue marbles from a pouch on her belt. She placed them onto the soft grass, and snapped her fingers. The marbles were replaced by 3 large black boxes, meant to carry sensitive electronic equipment. Izuku, Momo, and Ochako immediately unlatched the lids of the boxes. The group watched as yellow lights from within turned green, indicating that a connection had been established. Izuku pressed his hand to his comm-link again, as a near silent fleet of drones rose up into the air.
“Haha! Behold our genius!”
Izuku whistles, impressed, as the fleet of drones circles around them, before beginning to climb higher into the air, spreading out throughout the forest. The drones flew using technology found in an early-draft for hoverboards; the sleek-black drones were practically invisible in the night sky, as well as being able to move through it nearly silently. These’ll be able to provide them with eyes in the sky. The cases disappear, as Momo snaps her fingers once again, transforming the large black boxes back into marbles. Izuku nods once more, turning to look at the collected group.
“Alright, now that we’re done with setup, here’s the assignments for tonight. Avandra, you’ll be outside the forest, assisting the Wild Wild Pussycats. They’ll be attacked by two villains, one is a woman named Magne, she has a magnetism quirk that affects people, and the other is a man named Spinner, a swordsman with a full-body lizard mutation. Your job is simple; fight off the villains, and ensure they don’t kidnap Ragdoll. I’d rather make sure All for One doesn’t have Search in his repertoire this time around. While you’re at it, try to get blood-samples of all 4 members of the Pussycats; their quirks could be useful.”
Kyoka nodded, grabbing a new piece of support-gear Mei and Melissa made for her off her back, before frowning slightly.
“What do I do if I run into Eraser? Do you think he’ll try to…apprehend me?”
Izuku snorted, shaking his head, smiling softly at the purple-haired girl, who was tapping her earphone jacks nervously at the thought of facing down her former sensei.
“Eraserhead Isn’t Endeavor, he’ll be able to think rationally. Plus, he’s gonna be busy with Clones at the Lodge, and by the time the threat has been dealt with, you won’t be alone.”
Kyoka takes a breath, and nods, making Izuku smile. The green-haired boy next turned to the other three.
“Alright, Hela, Carmine, Zero, you three’ll be be in the forest rescuing students. There should be an unknown amount of Nomu, as well as a Villain named Mustard with a, you guessed it, a Mustard Gas Quirk.”
The girls nod, all of their masks had filters to protect them from that sort of thing, Momo crossing her arms
“I can produce masks for the students, as well as hunt down that particular villain myself.”
Izuku gives Momo a small nod, before continuing forward
“Good, while you do, be on the lookout for Nomu, you need to tag and let at least one escape, so we can give the Heroes a tracker to send them to the Nomu Warehouse.”
Izuku then looks at Himiko and Ochako, the two girls standing a little straighter.
“There’s also a villain named Moonfish, a real nutjob, that guy. A cannibal with a teeth-blade quirk, he’s unhinged and highly dangerous, so be on your guard.”
The two girls, even Himiko, cringe slightly at that. Izuku nods, but smirks again, giving Ochako a knowing look.
“Oh, and Ochako? Keep an eye out for Tsuyu, we’re shooting her the offer tonight. She’s kept her beacon, right?”
Ochako grins and pumps a fist, even as he hears Melissa typing slightly, before giving confirmation
“Yep, never leaves home without it, seemingly.”
Izuku grins right back at the brown-haired former thief, nodding.
“That implies Interest, or at least trust. We shouldn’t let that go to waste.”
The three girls nod, Ochako specifically looking determined. Izuku knows she met Tsuyu personally back at the USJ, and has had a vested interest in the frog-girls' progress, especially upon learning that they shared a bond in the previous timeline, too. Izuku looks back into the forest, sighing softly.
“We’re looking for smoke, that’s when the attack will start. Be wary, they have heavy hitters laying in wait, there’s a man named Twice, he’s a person of extreme Interest to us, his Quirk is incredibly powerful, and he may even be able to be swayed away from the League, that’s a conversation I’ll be having with you Carmine later. Right now, though, he’ll be making clones of a Pyromancer known as Dabi, who’s also a person of interest, but due to his relationship with the Number 2, soon to be Number 1, Hero.”
The entire group gives Izuku a confused look, and the green-eyed boy only smirks, shaking his head.
“Let’s just say the Todoroki family is fucked."
They all shrug, that was probably already a conclusion they’ve reached for themselves, Izuku continues his briefing.
“Their main-way of kidnapping will be using a Quirk we’re all familiar with. A man named Atsuhiro Sako, aka Mr. Compress.”
Momo’s eyes widened, as she tilted her head in thought.
“...Huh, you could use Compress on People, couldn’t you?”
Izuku nodded, and continued speaking.
“The league isn’t the only threat here, though. I said that Eraserhead should be level-headed enough to work with us, but I can't say the same for the students or the other heroes. I know for certain one student will have a rampaging quirk we need to deal with ASAP. Zero, Hela, Carmine, alert me when you spot Tokoyami Fumikage, if Katsuki Bakugou or Shoto Todoroki don’t pacify him, I will.”
The three girls nodded, before Ochako made a curious noise.
“And where will you be during all this, Boss?”
Izuku smirked dangerously, cracking his knuckles. His enhanced senses have begun picking up the faint scent of a fire, it’ll be beginning soon.
“There’s a Villain I'm going to be personally dealing with. Taking his quirk ‘the old fashioned way’ so to speak.”
The girl's eyes widened at Izuku’s tone, Kyoka whistled in amazement.
“Jesus, Green. Who’d they bring along that pissed you off so much last time around?”
Izuku chuckled, as he began pulling on Quirks, one at a time, feeling them slot themselves into place. Izuku also slowly begins to power-up One for All, feeling the energy thrum inside him, he was about to answer, when Ochako’s eyes widened. The girl tapped her fingers together, and began floating above the treeline, Izuku following her, to see what she saw. Both teens tensed, upon seeing the telltale smoke of a forest fire. Izuku and Ochako shared a glance, nodding to each other, when Melissa and Mei both made noises of surprise.
“Shit, Veridian, Zero, Tsuyu punched her distress beacon!”
Ochako’s eyes widen, and Izuku doesn’t even hesitate. His arm begins to smoke, and he forms a warp-portal in the air, to Tsuyu Asui’s exact Coordinates.
“You know what to do, Go!”
Ochako nodded, and flew into the portal without a second thought, Izuku closed it behind her, before flying down toward the other girls, warp portals appearing behind him.
“Alright, Ladies, It’s showtime! You have your orders, stay safe, raise hell!”
His girls give out a cheer, and rush for their portals, Momo shot him one last look, a question on her tongue.
“Wait, what about Kendo?! Should we watch out for her, too?”
Izuku looked down at the Creation-Wielding girl, and smirked, before opening up a Warp-Portal for himself.
“Nah, don’t worry about her. Something tells me I'll be running into her personally.”

Kota huffed, staring off at the vast forest beneath him. The dark-haired boy scoffed, and kicked a rock off the side of the small cliffside he was sitting on.
“Stupid heroes and their stupid camp…”
All of this was so pointless. What was even the point? Stupid Mandalay and her stupid team, stupid students and their stupid quirks, stupid heroes and villains, stupid parents, stupid…stupid everyone! What was the point?! Why do these worthless heroes and villains waste their lives, waste everyone's lives! Why do these dumbass quirks exist, if only to make everyone wanna kill each other with them, Kota just can’t wrap his head around what the goddamn point was! The little boy heard footsteps, and scowled, hands up, ready to blast someone with water. He expected maybe that ginger girl to come invading his secret base again, what he did not expect to see was a hulking man in a mask and cloak.
“Oh hey, Kid! I didn’t expect to see anybody up here, I just wanted a good vantage point of the forest before I got to killing!”
The man slowly took off his mask, and then his cloak, Kota’s eyes widened, his face growing pale.
“Y-You, You’re…”
The man smirked, tossing the mask idly in his hand, red muscle fibers expanding on his other arm. The man had a scar on his face, along with a prosthetic eye. Muscular, the Villain that murdered his parents smiled evilly down at the terrified boy.
“Say, I like your hat, Kid. wanna trade for the mask? My Boss gave it to me but honestly? I’m not feeling it.”
The massive villain's gigantic, muscle-covered hand moved toward Kota’s face, and the boy stood frozen, tears spilling down his cheeks.
“Mom…Dad…”
The boy flinched, closing his eyes as the meaty hand got closer, only to stumble back as the cliffside rumbled.
“Stay away from him!”
Kota’s eyes snapped open, and his eyes widened in surprise. It…It was the same Ginger-haired girl from before, her hands were balled up into fists, enlarged, and she was crackling with orange energy, Itsuka Kendo got into a fighting stance, Muscular chuckling as he shook off his arm, having blocked the girls punch easily.
“Oh hey, someone on Shigaraki’s Kill-List! It looks like tonight won’t be as boring as I thought!”
