Summary
While in the atmosphere of the Sith's secret planet Exegol, Resistance's ships attempted to defeat the First Order's army, Rey and Ben fought side by side to defeat Palpatine.
Palpatine used their dyad to resurface, was defeated by Rey, but she found herself immobile and unreachable after using all her power to overcome her grandfather. Ben, desperate to get her back, used all his strength to make her heart beat again. When Rey woke up, Ben's chest filled with joy. Hearing Rey say his name and being able to feel her warm lips on his, made Ben feel a peace like never before.
But bringing her back to life cost him dearly, he fainted shortly after sharing his only moment of relief with her in many years and fell unconscious in her arms.
When he woke up, he could no longer feel her, he had lost his connection to the Force and Rey would do anything for him to find it again. But what would he do without his powers? How would he survive alongside Rey in the new world, with all the crimes he committed in his past life? Now, reaching for the light, would it respond after everything he's done?
