Summary
After saving Omeluum from the Iron Throne, Tav decides to pay him a visit; Omeluum has his own thoughts on how he can pay Tav back for the heroics.
'Omeluum’s voice was a ripple on a lake, calm, even, level. Dangerously inviting when you don’t know how deep the water goes, “I am indeed indebted to you for saving me, although I am equally as surprised as I am thankful of your generosity. I am glad you rescued everyone else; that you saved me too was unexpected.”
Tav tilted his head to one side, curiously, “Of course I saved you, Omeluum. I would have tried to rescue everyone anyway, but I do rather like you.”
“Your inclination to generosity is one I wish to reciprocate,” The Mindflayer responded, an edge to his words Tav was unsure how to place. Omeluum seemed to regard him for a moment longer before he finished his thought, “Afterall, I too feel some… warmth at your presence.”'
