It was New Years time, the gang was meeting up at Vanilla’s Place, the gang included Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, Chaotic Team, Blaze, Cosmo, Shadow, Amy along with Vanilla, Cream, Jackson and his father. Jackson, Cream and Charmy were having fun coloring and drawing.
“Nice drawing Jackson.” Cream commented, “Yeah, that looks super cool dude.” Charmy also added, “Heh, thanks guys.” Jackson responded, as the three went back to doing their things, Amy walked passed, she let out a sad sigh which alerted the three kids, “I wonder if Amy’s alright?” Cream whispered to the others.
“Do you wanna ask?” Charmy whispered, Cream thought about it for a moment, “Sure, let’s go see if she’s ok.” Cream answered, the children got up and went over to Amy. Amy just stood there by herself, as she closed her eyes, she felt something tug her dress, she looked to see Jackson tugging on her dress, “Oh hey Jackson, what are you guys doing here?” She asked.
“Well, we noticed you look a little down, is something wrong?” Jackson asked, “Yeah, you look…well, blue.” Cream chimed in, Amy knew she lied to them so she gave in, “Yeah…it’s just, I want to tell Sonic I love him, but just can’t…do it, I don’t know what’s stopping me.” Amy explained, the children looked at each other.
“Well, what if we helped you admit your feelings to him?” Cream suggested, this made Amy surprised, “R-Really?” Amy asked, “Sure, we got nothing else to do.” Charmy responded, Amy then hugged the three, “Thank you guys, thank you soooooo much.” She thanked them, “Now let’s get to work.” Amy said.

Amy and the three children were in the back, where Sonic was with Tails, the two boys were just rambling on about stuff, with Amy and the three was Cosmo who was smacking a plant flower, “Thanks for helping Cosmo.” Cream said, “It’s no problem.” She responded, “So what’s the plan?” Amy asked.
“Simple, you give the flower head to Sonic, give him a nice compliment and well, admit your feelings and what not.” Charmy explained, finally, Cosmo finished the plant making flower head and handed it to Cream, Cream turned and gave Amy the flower head, “Alright Amy, you got this, just be confident.” Cream said, with that, Amy went over.
“And then I stole Shadow’s sushi and ran, ran, ran.” Sonic said, laughing, “You sure he ain’t gonna get revenge.” Tails asked back, “Nah, I’m sure.” Sonic responded, he then felt something tap him on the back, he turned to see Amy with the flower head, “Oh hey Amy, what’s up?” Sonic greeted her.
“Um…hey Sonic, I…I just wanted to give you this.” Amy commented as she held the flower head up to him, Sonic then grabbed it, he blushed a little, “Oh um, thanks Amy.” He responded, “Um Sonic…there’s something else I wanted to say, I…” Amy was saying before Sonic interrupted her, “Um, I think I hear Vanilla calling me, gotta go.” He said and zoomed off.
Amy was completely left in silence, a little tear came to her eye, “Um Amy, are you alright?” Tails asked, “I’m…fine Tails.” Amy said and she walked off, the three children just watched on, “Ouch, just ouch.” Charmy said, Jackson and Cream looked at each other, “Alright, plan B.” She said to the others.

Amy and the children had gathered again, this time, they had brought Shadow with them, “So, you want me to help Amy get with Sonic, is that right?” He asked, Cream nodded, “Um, alright, I’ll do it…reluctantly.” He commented, he then went up to Amy, “So, what do you got Shadow?” She asked him.
“Alright Amy, listen up, if you really want to be with Sonic, you gotta be firm with him.” Shadow told her, “Um, isn’t that supposed to be advice for men?” Amy asked. “Well yeah, but it can also apply to women, be firm, a man also likes a firm woman.” Shadow explained to her, he stepped to the side, “Go ahead, go try.” Shadow said.
“Um…ok.” Amy said and she walked off. Sonic was talking with Jacob about Jackson, Amy walked up and tapped Sonic on the shoulder, he turned around, “Oh um, hi Amy, nice to see you again.” Sonic said, Jacob instantly knew what was happening, “I’ll just leave you two alone.” He laughed and walked away, now it was just Amy and Sonic, Amy took in a deep breath and got close to Sonic.
“Um, what are you doing Amy?” Sonic asked, “Hey Sonic, how about we kiss, I know you would like that.” Amy said, Shadow started sweating, “Not that.” He muttered, the three children watched on, a bit worried, “What do you say to that?” Amy finished, Sonic looked on, a bit surprised, “I...gotta go.” He responded and zipped away, “Well, you can’t say I didn’t try.” Shadow muttered.
Amy just stood there, tears then formed in her eyes, with no hesitation, she ran away, “Wait no, Amy, come back!” Cream shouted, but it was no use, Amy ran and was soon out of sight, Cream sighed with sadness, “Chao!” Cheese came up, “Oh, hey Cheese.” Cream muttered, Charmy and Jackson also looked defeated.
Little did they know that Sonic was watching, he put two and two together and realized what was happening, (She was trying…) He thought to himself, knowing what he needed to do, he zipped off, wanting to talk with Amy, this caught the three children's attention, “I wonder what he’s doing?” Charmy asked.

Amy was sitting on a log, crying, “He’ll never know how I feel, no matter what I do.” She cried to herself, as she kept on crying, she felt something wrap around her and hoist her up, when she looked, she was stunned. It was Sonic, “Hey…you alright, I saw you run off and all that.” He asked, Amy just didn’t say anything.
“Listen Amy, I’ll be honest with you, I know you love and all that stuff you did was…good, except for the attempt of…you know.” He explained, Amy then found her giggling at his remark, Sonic wiped her tears away, “But, what I’m saying is, and this might sound crazy to you…I do love you too.” He said this shocked Amy.
“R-Really?” She asked, “Yes I do, I have for a while, it’s just…I’ve been afraid to admit it to you, so you know, I just either avoided you and what not.” He admitted, Amy then wrapped her hands around him tight, “I love you too Sonic, and don’t ever forget that.” She said, “Don’t worry hon, I’ll never.” Sonic responded, they then looked at each other and then kissed.
After a few minutes of kissing, they departed, and hugged each other tightly for what seemed like forever, then Sonic broke the silence, “So, I think it’s best we head back to Vanilla’s place.” Sonic told her, “Yeah, you're right, can I hop on?” Amy asked, “Yes, let’s do this.” Sonic said, Amy hopped on and they took off.

Jackson, Cream and Charmy were huddled together, they were thinking about Amy, “I hope that she’s alright.” She said, “Yeah, me too.” Jackson responded, when they saw Sonic and Amy come back, they ran up to them, “Amy, are you alright?” Cream asked, “I’m more than alright, I’m great!” She responded, happiness filling her voice, the three realized what happened.
“Oh my gosh, did you get together actually?” Charmy said, eager to know, Amy and Sonic looked at each other, “Yes, we did Charmy.” Sonic responded, the three of them celebrated, Amy and Sonic just laughed as Amy rested her head on Sonic’s shoulder and just watched them celebrate their “Victory” all the while, also laughing.
