“Nel, who attacked Harribel? Was it leftover Wandenreich? Hollows?” Ichigo presses. He can’t fathom much of anything being able to take on Harribel and gravely injure her. Quincies practically cheat with their reishi stealing abilities or whatever. He never understood all that bullshit, but he knew it could do some serious damage to hollows. Whoever it was must be a terrifying being with incredible power.
What Nel says next shuts whatever ideas Ichigo had down completely.
“It was Grimmjow.” She growls out.
Ichigo speeds up, matching the pace of his heart. “He wouldn’t.”
“He did.”
Or: Grimmjow is hit with some sorta hollow equivalent of pon farr and all kinds of destruction ensues.
