   Summary

   If Remus really unleashed his anger, Peter wouldn’t be walking out of that forest; if he was a good boy, he might be allowed to crawl out alive.

   Remus had never truly thought of ending someone's life, not until James had told him about the way Peter had treated him.

   The way Peter and his friends so freely referred to James by his dead name was enough to show Remus how shit they were.

   Sure, James had told Remus his dead name. But Remus purposely didn’t retain the information. It didn’t matter to him how James was born, only who he was on the inside.

   James was a gentle soul, who wore his heart on his sleeve and Peter was no better than dog shit on the sidewalk.
