Work Text:
It's pouring outside.
Under normal circumstances, this would be dreadful. Wonyoung's fine when it drizzles, but her opinion usually differs when it comes down harder. Usually.
But today is far from normal – all of the members' schedules were canceled due to the downpour. Filming would have to wait until another day.
This circles back to Wonyoung's point. She's thankful for the rain because it keeps Gaeul here with her, the smaller girl barely conscious in her arms.
(Upon hearing the news, Gaeul had dragged Wonyoung to her room.
"Unnie," Wonyoung chuckled, "what are you doing?"
"There's no reason for us to be awake at the crack of dawn," Gaeul responded. She looked away as she added, "and the rain gets me down sometimes. I need a cuddle-buddy."
Wonyoung pretty much melted. "Of course I'll be your cuddle-buddy.")
Gaeul nuzzles into the crook of Wonyoung's neck. Wonyoung eventually tangles her hand into her hair. It feels as if that's where her hand belongs, gently massaging the older girl's scalp. Maybe Wonyoung's meant to be weaved together with her.
"Wonyoungie," Gaeul murmurs, looking up at her with half-lidded eyes, "I'm gonna fall asleep if you don't stop."
Wonyoung feels Gaeul smile against her skin. "I thought that was the point?"
She doesn't reopen her eyes as she utters, "Maybe."
Wonyoung dips her head down to kiss the crown of Gaeul's hair. "I love you," she purrs. " God, I love you."
