Rei slams a fist onto his throne’s armrest, and Hiro winces a little. “What in the world is Akai Shuuichi doing here?!”
“Competing?”
“How?”
“I mean,” says Hiro, and flashes Rei another grin, “He applied?”
“What do you mean, he applied?!”
Rei may have spent years travelling with the hero’s party- both to defeat the lich Karasuma, and to bring Hiro back from the dead. But none of it matters, not one bit. When it comes to Akai Shuuichi, Rei still has no forgiveness in his heart.
So he’s not about to let the man swan in and win his hand in marriage.

Summary
His death comes suddenly: it comes quickly and, most unpleasant of all, very predictably.
Bourbon is shot from the back, with a single bullet straight to the head. At that moment, he couldn't even feel the pain, simply because it was obviously too much shock for his brain, which he physically couldn't process — all because of the same bullet that caused this pain - as well as a few thoughts, something like "damn it!" and "that bastard!"
So, yes, he swears before he dies.
Sincere, with feeling.
So sincere that it even opens your eyes.

Summary
After Nanami's near-death encounter with Mahito, Gojo is no longer comfortable with taking chances. Having already lost one person to inaction, he's unwilling to make the same mistake again, so to protect Nanami from the rising-levels of curses, and himself, Gojo takes him to his estate. Unfortunately, riddled with depression, anxiety and self-doubt, Nanami has a tough time adjusting to a stress-free life.

Gojo atticwifes Nanami for his own good, spoils him, pampers him, and helps him work through his issues. It's ugly, but both come out of it happier.
