“We’re going to need a moment,” Seungmin says to the realtor.
The woman, her name is Yuna if Changbin remembers correctly, smiles politely as she mumbles an ‘of course’ and then walks to some other part of the apartment.
“I like it,” Changbin says immediately when the younger looks at him. It is clear that Seungmin doesn't fully agree with the sentiment but he doesn’t turn him down right away so that’s a win.
“I’m not sure,” the doubt in Seungmin’s voice is clear as day. He takes another look around the living area noting that it is spacious and there is enough space around the entire apartment to have an office and Changbin’s own workout spot.
The only downside is that the neighborhood is farther from their friends and family than wanted.
“Baby,” Changbin says, and Seungmin knows he has lost whatever battle they were having, in spite of this he says nothing, letting the older go on. “This would be the perfect first home for us. There’s enough to raise Mochi and a dog park not too far from here, the neighborhood is great. And,” he pauses in thought, “and the air quality is amazing.”
Seungmin raises an eyebrow and Changbin just shrugs. He stares at the older, only to put him on edge just a little then sighs. Changbin has a grin on his face before the younger even says anything.
They end up signing the lease and the excitement radiating off of Changmin makes it worth it to Seungmin.
When they announce it to their friends a few days later and Seungmin isn’t able to wipe the smile off his face he’ll blame it on the mystery of love.
