“Hey Neuro, you want to accompany me clothes shopping?” Griffin asks her friend as the master of mind looking at her with confusion. It wasn't usual that the tomboy speed master would ask her to help with clothes shopping. To be honest she herself wasn't the type of person to go on a shopping spree.
Usually it would be either Chamille or that Seliel girl that another friend of Skylor likes to go shopping. Neuro herself isn't really the person to understand about the modesty of the trends, “Why not ask Chamille to accompany you? Also why me… I'm not the person that usually like to understand about clothing” she said with honest as Griffin then pouted her cheek and sit beside her friend, who's still reading her book.
“Chamille is on a vacation to visit her parents, that's a no. And the other girls were busy with their own tasks! Besides, you're the only one left that didn't leave for this winter!!” she begged, as Griffin did get a point about it. Neuro didn't go back to her hometown, because her parents were long dead and she already has a stable life of her own now.
“Well, since my parents died I don't think I want to go back… and you did have a point” she sighs in defeat, knowing that the master of speed won't stop pestering her and she was the only hope left for her friend. She had no choice, but yet again she also needed a new pair of clothes since she does need one. “Fine, I'll go shopping with you. I also need some new clothes for my own I guess” she answered and made Griffin happy from her answer.
“That's settled then! We will go this noon! Better start to prepare then!” Griffin then hurriedly changed her clothes as Neuro just smiled at the scene and also began to walk to her own room to change her own clothes. When she was about to reach her room, she met Shade as he had just arrived from an errand. “Neuro? Where are you going?” He asks her as she stands there avoiding eye contact with him as she's supposed to be angry at him for eating her last ice cream.
“None of your concern. I'm going off with Griffin, don't follow us. I know what your planning Shade, stay here with the other. I'll see you later” she said as she was changing her clothes leaving Shade there, well she did already read his mind that he was about to follow her just to make sure she's safe and all, and a reason so he could apologise to her. “Wait bunny–” he called out to her as she slammed the door and went off with Griffin.
He sighs, he doesn't know what to do now. He really should apologise to her sooner, he could hear a cackle from behind as he saw Ash was laughing at his misery of how Neuro was mad at him. “What? You also didn't allowed to follow her too, don't fucking laugh” he said and that made Ash shut up. Well that's true both were not allowed to follow them, as they are being overprotective. “Okay, fine. But, it's Griffin! I'm really curious where she's going and wondering if you want to follow them secretly” Ash suggests to him, as Shade tries to think about it.
“As tempting as it sounds, I can't afford how Neuro is going to be mad at me even worse than this…” he sighs, he really didn't want his girlfriend to be mad at him more than it was. “Shade, buddy, they won't even know if we used our powers to follow them from afar. Besides, I heard from a little birdie that they were going clothes shopping~ and we're just going to silently watch them just to make sure they're safe!”
Shade was still sceptical with this, he knew that Ash is… more of a crazy person who adores Griffin, heck he even always made her mad by his teasing. But he can't help to wonder how Griffin could stand this man, truly it's a weird world. “Just say it's an excuse to see Griffin with her surprise for you…” Shade facepalm as he could see through all of Ash's excuses for seeing Griffin gave to him.
“Says the one who wants to see Neuro with that off shoulder dress you showed another day~ not to mention looks like someone got busted while ogling the picture the model is wearing~” the master of smoke teases as it makes Shade's face become redder. The master of shadow then slapped his shoulder making him laugh at his reaction, “I only show it– doesn't mean I want to see her in that. Also that was a mistake! I didn't mean to make her that mad” he hissed, well truthfully he really wanted to see her in it. “Well the offer is still there, do you want to follow them or not?” still with the crazy offer Shade just sighs and in the end he ends up agreeing.

“Do you feel someone following us?” Griffin asks Neuro as both now were in the clothes department and something tells her that there's somebody following them both, “you mean like the trail of smoke and shadow that is right behind the tree?” She pointed slowly at the decoration tree behind the store as there was a trail of smoke and shadow.
Of course they immediately knew it was Shade and Ash following them from behind, “Do you think they didn't notice that I can see their movement and you can read their minds?” The short haired brunette whispers while picking out the clothes she picked, Neuro just shrugs as she didn't really care about it, “I already told him not to follow us, but did he listen? No. Just let them be, did you already pick the thing you're buying?” Neuro asks while looking over to Griffin's side as she smiles and nods. “Yup! What about you?”
The long hair girl pointed out to the clothes she had already picked earlier, and with that both then went to pay for the clothes while unknowingly Ash and Shade were behind the store. “Did they finish? Shade dude, tell me are they done?” Ash tried to see but he and Shade were in a middle shoving each other from there as Shade could feel Neuro and Griffin going out from the store. Let's just say Shade and Ash hurried to get out of there, “Ash? What are you and Shade doing here?” They could hear Griffin's voice as the two then meet a stare from Neuro who seems unhappy and Griffin just stand there and stares at Ash.

Both were now already back at the dojo as Neuro was now standing in front of him, “Why are you following us?” A stern question from Neuro making the master of shadow shrink from it, he can't really look into her eyes as he knows she is probably going to be mad even more at him. “I wanna say it was Ash's idea?” He answered, but Neuro was not impressed by this.
Shade then apologised to her, “Okay I'm sorry, it's just… I want to make sure you were alright and maybe apologise about the whole eating your ice cream thing… you're still mad at me aren't you?” He asks guilty as the master of mind sighs and shakes her head and smiles at him. “I'm not mad, just a little bit disappointed. And it's not about the ice cream anymore…” she said as she sighs in defeat and put down the clothes she bought earlier as the shadow master looked over to her shopping bag.
“What's inside the bag?” He asks and points out as Neuro tries to hide it behind her back, “just normal clothes— No need to look over it” she said but Shade seems not believing her word. “Why? Something you try to hide there?” Shade teased her, as Neuro shook her head. “Of course not! This has nothing to do with you…”
“Really? Then what's that?” He points to her left as Neuro looks over, while being distracted he then grabs the bag and sees what she was hiding. That is until Shade's face goes red when he sees it, it was the style dress that he looked before in the magazine he saw a few days ago, and oh boy it was the off shoulder one. “Uh…”
“I told you it was nothing!” she said and snatched the dress while her face was now equally red as Shade's one. “It was supposed to be a surprise…” she muttered and Shade apologised to her, “Sorry.. I didn't mean to–”
“I can try the clothes if you want to.. you did kind of want to see me in those right?”
The question made Shade's face look even redder than Kai's gi right now, even though he got choker by his own breath. “I mean… sure?” He said and Neuro gave him a small smile that surely could make him faint in any moment, but he endured it as he was trying not to faint in place now.
The master of mind then went to change in the bathroom as Shade was waiting for her in her room. He just only need to wait and calm himself down, just don't think anything weird about it, it's just Neuro, his girlfriend, his everything, in a clothes that teases him in a way, makes him wants to—
“Hey, Shade?”
The master of shadow then looked up to the voice as he then saw Neuro already finished changing her clothes. And fsm he was sure he almost felt going to faint in his place now. With now Neuro wearing the clothes she bought and Shade was sure he could feel his face and body become red upon seeing her with that off shoulder dress and how that shoulder teasing him in a way, for once Shade was speechless.
“Uhm……..”
‘Fuck, she's pretty in that dress… no wonder she hides those skin with a long one, comeon Shade snap out of it! Don't let your dirty thoughts be read by Neuro!’
“What thought about me that you don't want to be read?” Neuro asks him as he was startled, forgetting that she can read his mind unknowingly by him. Shade then pretending to look away to check on the clock or looking at the wall pretending to find something interesting on the wall. “Hmm.. I'll say you like the surprise?” She tease him in return as she met a lilac eyes goes wide as his face was really red by the time she saw him, and she let out a small giggle
“it's.. perfect and you're really pretty in that…” he confessed as she giggled and brushed her hand onto his hair and caressed the ravenette, “Maybe I should wear this more often then?” She asked Shade then chuckling and then kissed her on the lips. We'll let them have this moment for now.
Small surprise from Neuro were always worth it for Shade to wait. It's worth to see her like this.

Meanwhile Ash was waiting patiently (more like impatience) for Griffin finishing up her surprise for him. Okay maybe he was caught for stalking them but the speed master let it slide as she was planning to give him a surprise today. So she decided to make Ash wait in her own room, which that's what he did and he was really impatient about it.
“Where is she? She did say I need to wait for her here… but I didn't know that she wanted me to wait this long!!” He groaned as he flops himself onto her bed and lays there waiting for her, and he decides just to close his eyes for a little while to wait for the time to pass by. He didn't hear the door open as he was still laying there with his eyes closed when Griffin decided to sneak up on him.
The speed master decided to look over to his form laying in the bed as she smiled to herself and began to climb to the bed. Ash could feel something or perhaps someone climbing on the bed and to his way as he slowly opened up his eyes and saw a silhouette of Griffin as she smiled to herself thinking he was sleeping. If this what she planned then two can play the game, Griffin began to poking on his cheek as he faking his yawns and Griffin climb to the bed and sit right on top of his stomach on purposely making Ash open his eyes as he saw Griffin now on top of him while grinning at him.
“Have a nice nap there?~” she teases him as he sees her on top of him, looks like the surprise was herself after all. What surprised him is that now Griffin has long hair, when actually her hair is short and now her hair was much longer onto her back length, and seems like she wears a sleeveless dress top with a new see through jacket and long pants. Which made Ash admit he likes the new style of changes, “Oh… I didn't know you made your hair longer now…” the first word he said as he was speechless by her new appearance.
Griffin then smiles as she plays with her now long hair, “I used a hair extension to make it longer, that's why it's really hard and takes a long time when I try to attach it… do you like it?” She asks while smiling at him, as she plays with the tip of her hair. Ash couldn't form any word then decided just to show it with his action, he then brushed his hand into her hair and tangled it on his hand while admiring her face, “well… you do look cute in this hairstyle, maybe you should try to grow it natural?” He asks while occasionally kissing her hair.
“So you do like long hair more than my usual short hair? I'm hurt..” she said while faking her hurt feeling, making Ash chuckle and continue to play with her hair, “I'm just joking… I like both short and long hair, it just suits you. Both of them suit you” he slowly sits up while holding her by her waist, making them both facing each other as Griffin giggles, “so I heard… What else then? Other than my hair that is” She asks him while he observes her.
“You change your clothes style more than your usual tracksuit and bandana… it's cute, especially the sleeveless top” he admits truthfully, enjoying the view of the sleeveless top, especially those shoulders and that see through jacket. Everything about her makes him go crazy, and wanting to shower her with his undying love and loyalties. “You and your words Ash… maybe I should keep this look sometimes later, maybe I can wear this to our date~” She teases him, making the smoke master blush as his eyes now widen and Griffin swear she could see some sparkle in his eyes. Cute, like a puppy.
“We can go on dates now!” He exclaimed, his face now red and the speed master can't help but to let out a laugh, “you're really this excited, huh?” She ask while cupped Ash face into her hand and staring into his eyes, while Ash just tilted his head at her, “did my face distracted you?~” he teased her as she rolled her eyes at him.
“very funny…” she said as she bring her face closer to Ash as their lips almost touching, “Maybe we could go on a date, for now… I want to be like this for a while” And then Griffin let her lips touch with his as the two now are kissing, while Griffin still holds his face in her hands as Ash then slid his hand into her waist, holding in place.
A small surprise like this can rile up some people in a way, and Griffin loves every single time she does it to Ash.
