"Now that you're doing better, why dont we do something to help build up your strength? Something such as like- An arena? That could help" Sherbert offered, they had a tint of hope in their voice. The elixir worked! They cured Athena!
"Uhm.. I don't know if thats a super great idea to be honest.. Like not an arena and stuff..." Rae's voice dropped a bit, seeing the change in demeanor from Athena at the mention of the training place in question.
"Why? It'd be.. It'd be for your own good?" Another comment from the Avian, Athena slowly slid to hide behind Rae. Though not saying a word, he was very on edge. They seemed to shake a small bit, and not just from the chill of the overworld but also some from the fear they had.
"Look, I don't think an arena is a good idea. We could do training and stuff but just not an arena.. and maybe not You.." Raw proposed, His tone filled with concern. It wavered a bit at the end that he directed to the brunette infront of him.
"What? I'm- I'm just trying to be a good friend!" Sherbert said, confusion and persistence in their tone.
"Look, Sherbert.. I know you're trying to be a good friend, You are trying. But just because you don't remember, That doesn't mean that **We** forgot Sherbert!" Rae snapped at his brother. Couldn't Sherbert see that they were making a mistake? Well no, they couldn't. They didn't quite remember what they did last reset
"I... I'm just gonna go.." Sherbert said, dipping their head a little bit lower.
"That's probably a good idea right now" Rae said, his tone in a way stating the obvious. He turned to guide Athena into the house after Sherbert left.
Sherbert walked back to their house in silence. Stepping up to the doorstep, they said their thoughts and feelings out loud to themself, the wind, and the things that spoke around them.
"I dont get it. We just saved Athena and— and they were hiding behind Rae like I was gonna.. Like I was gonna do something to them... I wouldn't hurt Athena ever.. Why would they think that??" Sherbert started to pace around for a moment around the flowers in their house
"Everybody is just afraid of me... Everybody else remembers and I dont!" They slammed their fist onto one of the trees in the main floor of their house, then turning to go up the stairs.
"Maybe thats what that means.. It means that I shouldnt remember. That I shouldn't be here anymore.. I should just go, I should just leave and get out of here. I'm just gonna leave and never come back, that's the best for everyone and for me" Sherbert put the last few things in to a bag, putting it in their inventory, grabbed some rockets, and after stepping out of the back door, off they shot up in to the air.
They flew as far away from spawn as they could. Flying away to an open spot of land, thousands of blocks out from spawn. They deemed this to be an appropriate place to settle down for a bit. The sun was begining to set.
Upon landing, Sherbert set their bag down and started to unpack and build a temporary spot to settle in for the night. They could worry about building a house tomorrow.
Setting up a small resting area, they laid down a sleeping bag, a few chests, a furnace with a sack of charcoal next to it, and a tent cover over top of it all. This would be enough just to get them through the first few nights.
