Always putting the needs of other people before his own, his brother. Joshua remembered how Clive used to stay awake with him whenever he needed him—whether it was his poor health or something their mother had done—his brother would watch over him and make sure he got every bit of comfort he needed, even at the expense of his own. Clive’s presence had always been enough to calm him, his warm touch soothing his pains in a way the Phoenix could never do, even if just for a moment.
