Work Text:
The sun had gone down long ago, leaving a cloudy sky that constantly poured snowflakes over the city of Las Vistas.
In the Oak household, they were getting ready to watch a christmas movie from the old world. Home Alone. They had never watched it before, but they were all excited to see if they would like it or not.
On the coffee table were candy and hot chocolate spread out for everyone to share. Song had gone shopping for christmas candy, and she had come back home with various types of chocolate, as well as a few different random types of candy.
The sofa was covered in thick blankets where they were currently curling up underneath. They were cuddling close to each other, relaxing before starting the movie.
"Are you ready?" Song asked, waiting to turn on the movie to make sure that nobody needed anything.
"We're good", the children agreed.
Turning on the movie, Song sat down beside her eldest daughter, sharing the same blanket as they snuggled close.
The movie ended up being a hit. It made them all laugh and cry. There was no leftover candy at the end of it, and all the hot chocolate had been drunk. The children were almost falling asleep. It was getting late, and with all of the sugar that they ate, it was no surprise that they had crashed.
Lio and Song exchanged a glance before smirking. The movie night had been a success. There were so many christmas movies left to watch, but they knew that they had lots of time.
Lio and Song let their children stay on the sofa to sleep, not wanting them to wake up from their adorable slumber.
While Song wasn't sure of how she would get the kids into their beds, she knew that she would never leave them home alone during christmas.
