Work Text:
"How do we get all of the snow into a gigantic ball?" Wolf asked, leaning her head to the side.
"Easy! Let's just make a snowball and roll it around the house until it's big enough", Kipo suggested.
Neither Benson or Wolf disagreed. They got down on their knees in the snow and started to gather it. Kipo got started on the future snowman's head, since it would need the least snow. Wolf and Benson would together work on the body, until Kipo could join them. Dave and Mandu were inside the house, searching for a perfect carrot for the nose.
Wolf and Benson were halfway done with the bottom of the snowman when Kipo announced that she was finally finished with the head. She made her way over to her siblings to help them. They rolled the snowball around the house, gathering as much snow as they could. In the end, even Wolf struggled to roll the snowball that had reached the height of her legs. It was heavy and just wouldn't budge.
"Move aside, guys!" Kipo called out, growing out her jaguar arms before picking the snowball up and carrying it over to the front of the house.
When it was at its designated spot, they started working on the last part of the snowman.
"Hey, Benson? Do you wanna decorate the head while me and Wolf finish the last part of the body?" Kipo asked and Benson nodded.
Mandu and Dave were waiting for him on the doorsteps, having found the perfectly sized carrot to use as the snowman's nose. After putting it on the face, Benson started to search for small rocks for the face. He managed to find enough rocks by the time that Kipo and Wolf had managed to make the rest snowman's body and put it onto the bottom.
"Help me make his face!" Benson called out and they rushed over to him, grabbing rocks to add to the snowman's face.
It didn't take too long before they deemed themselves finished. The girls helped Benson carry it over to the snowman's body and put it on top. They managed to find two sticks of the same size to put on the sides as arms as well. They backed off to admire their masterpiece. Wolf and Benson were proud of themselves for their hard work, but Kipo wasn't completely satisfied yet.
"There is something missing..." she hummed, before she realized what it was.
She took off the scarf wrapped around her neck, walking over to wrap it around the snowman's non-existent neck.
"Not it's finished!" Kipo smiled proudly, wrapping her arms around her siblings' shoulders.
"What should we call him?" Wolf asked, knowing that Kipo would have asked the same question at any moment if she hadn't.
"What about... Todd?" Benson suggested.
The three siblings looked at the snowman. He could certainly pass off as a Todd. Todd the Snowman. It made a great name!
"Welcome to the world, Todd!" Kipo said cheerfully, making her siblings laugh.
They waved goodbye to their snowman before walking back inside. Their hands and feet were freezing and it was time to get warm again. They could spend some more time with Todd tomorrow.
Although december wouldn't last forever, it felt like they had all the time in the world.
