Summary
After the horrifying events in Falkreath left her blind in one eye, Mavrem Wolf-Defender, formerly known as Rheanna the Bold, found refuge in Dayspring Canyon. Hunting vampires was her calling long before she took her first contract as a Sell-Sword or joined the Stormcloaks, and she's hoping it will help her recover from her ordeal. Scared to let anyone see all the scars she was left with, she's been avoiding her family and lover, the former ranger Bishop.
Bishop, newly made head of Riften's Thieves Guild is trying to give her space. Learning how to effectively work with so many others is proving to be an excellent distraction.
When the vampire threat proves much greater than anyone barring Isran expected, it pulls in fighters from all across Skyrim. While Bishop is determined not to lose any of the Guild to the vampires, he's equally determined to be available to watch Mavrem's back. But when old enemies reunite, it's going to make things much harder on everyone.
And all the while, Alduin is gaining strength and soon Mavrem will have to face him. Whether she feels ready for it or not.
