   Summary

   Mating runs were far outside of Shouta’s usual interest, he’d dodged them every year without fail. He was satisfied with his life, and even if he wasn't, he was too busy to worry about securing a mate. Between hero work and grading papers, he didn't have the time to dedicate to being a good mate.

   Once the war was over and the dust had settled, he didn't really have half of that excuse now. Heroes were…on pause, for the most part. He still did his underground routes, but he wasn't training any new heroes, and so he found himself without his day job. A stipend from the government kept him afloat, he hardly needed the night patrols, but they kept him sane.

   That did leave him with his entire day free...
