Unknown Paradise

Summary:

It was supposed to be a simple mission.

Yet... Now he is traveling alone.

With no way back, all he could do is walk alone upon this new world. Can he find what he wanted? A means to return, or, a way to break free from his immortality?

One thing's for sure, he doesn't know what will the others think should he achieved the latter option.

Notes:

(AN: This idea just doesn't want to get outta my head fr, also I'm contemplating whether Blade should met Zhongli first or Xiao or Hu Tao lol. This fanfic exist to test my descriptive skills, so I'm sorry if it's not up to your expectations.

After playing Honkai Star Rail for a while, my mind was like: What if there is a crossover where a character from Genshin Impact got stuck in HSR or vice versa?

The timeline is set to a few months before the Traveler went to Fontaine. Anyway, bye! The update schedule is very randomised, so if I felt like it, I will update this :P)

Chapter 1: Stranded

Chapter Text

It was supposed to be a simple mission.

Yet... Now he is traveling alone.

-Flashback-

Elio wanted Kafka to go help Blade on his task. It involves going to a planet called Jarilo-VI, when Kafka and Blade had landed they immediately went to scout ahead.

The planet is cold and it's climate were harsh. In their first few hours of mapping the area, it is quite rare to find any mammals or other animals. Just like it's rare to spot a flock of birds crossing the skies.

Encountering fragmentum monsters is easier than anything here. Sometimes they met a couple of them, or even a pack of these monsters. But it is to be noted that they aren't that many than before, ever since the Astral Express finished their business in Jarilo-VI. The planet has changed, slowly but surely.

For now even if the changes is still barely noticable to the naked eye, the Stellaron Hunters knew that the fragmentum monsters are now less of a hassle to be dealt with.

Kafka and Blade had set up a temporary camp in a nearby cave. Lucky for them, they are very well prepared, with the help of technologies, they are kept safe from the harsh cold of winter outside.

Their mission here on the planet is to find a special kind of Geomarrow, apparently, this kind of Geomarrow only existed far away from Belobog's underworld. The ore in question is to be said to be a very rare kind, which can help keep things heated up without the need of more resources.

Which means, this ore can possibly supply light sources for an entire city.

Leaning his back against the cave's wall, Blade turn his gaze to the heater infront of him that repelled the darkness and cold. Sometimes, he wonder- why would Kafka bother her precious time to help him on his mission? It's not like he can't do this alone anyway.

Crossing his arms, Blade turn his head to look at his companion Kafka, who is playing a violin, providing the two some sense of comfort. The way she played it gently- to Blade- showed off a sense of something that Kafka rarely shows to everyone.

Perhaps it is gentleness? He didn't know, but whenever she played the strings gently, it made him felt at ease.

Blade decided to sit down on the ground, while still leaning with his back against the walls. Closing his eyes and take a deep breath.

"Something's on your mind, Bladie?" The woman spoke, she place her attention on him as she stopped.

"It's nothing." Blade responded with a shake of his head.

"Well, we got all the time we need alone here." The woman smiled, glancing to her left at the darkness and blizzard outside.

The man said nothing, prefering to be silent. Though this is normal for him to usually never respond to a conversation unless it's important. He is the silent one of the Stellaron Hunters after all.

Deciding to not disturb Blade any longer, Kafka returned back to play her violin.

The air is silent once more, with only the sound of a violin filling up the area as a source of comfort. Blade started to ponder as to why would Elio need that special Geomarrow that badly, is it because it would be useful on something he wanted Silver Wolf to make?

No matter. That's none of his concern, he's here only to get the special Geomarrow. That's all.

Placing two fingers at his sword while his eyes still closed, he slowly drifted off to sleep, feeling how his body feels light as a feather all of a sudden.

-Present-

Standing at the top of a mountain, all he can see is wilderness, and a city far away. As Blade looks down from his place, he can see a group of people. Are they the bandits of this world? No matter, he knew they won't stand a chance against him.

Despite being worried as to how he is stranded in another world alone, Blade couldn't help but feel slightly hopeful that there might be someone out there who could break his immortality and kill him for good.

But if that were to happen, what will the others think? What would Kafka think? Or even Elio, Sam, and Silver Wolf? He sometimes hated the fact that he might becoming a bit soft when it comes to them.

Turning his head to the right, he can see a statue with a man sitting on a throne at the top. It is giving off sense of power, but it felt weak. Said statue is at a lone floating platform, which makes Blade wonder as to why it isn't on top of a mountain or somewhere less secluded.

Lifting his arm up, Blade slowly reached for the sword at his back. Then with a single step forward...

He falls...

...Right towards the poor folks who is unaware of the pain that will come from above them at high speed with ill intent.
