"Ever been told it's creepy to watch someone sleep?"
Tourmaline doesn't need to look, she can feel Vignette's eyes on her, feels her fingers stroke along her wings softly.
She opens her eyes and takes in the sight around them. The rising sun, illuminating the trees around them in a warm glow, the beauty of it second only to the sight of Vignette's face first thing in the morning.
"Mhm," Vignette hums, "I believe it was me who told you that first."
Tourmaline laughs because it's true.
"I'll let it slide because you're cute," she says with a bright smile.
