    Nine tails of fire swayed behind his figure, wrapped in a warm-colored kimono reminiscent of autumn. A white haori with scarlet, flame-like ends fell elegantly over his broad shoulders, on which lay long, thick blond hair with red tips. Two little flames with a singular ear-like shape emerged from his hair, making him more similar to a kitsune than a demon.
    The eyes that were returning the Demon Slayer's gaze were golden with black sclera, and they were marked with kanji that Akaza could hardly have confused or misinterpreted: it was the Upper Moon Two.
    For a moment, Akaza hoped he was wrong. After all, why would the Upper Moon Two have been there? It didn't make sense. Only a lesser demon had been reported in that area - the one Akaza was chasing - and not an Upper Moon. However, the kanji visible in the newcomer's eyes were all too clear and reported the rank of that demon.
