   Summary

   Every time he closed his eyes, Newt's face surfaced in the fog, always hovering on the edge of his consciousness. There was something about him that Thomas couldn’t figure out—and if Thomas had learned anything about himself in the few days spent in the Glade, it was that he was drawn to things he didn't understand, driven by an inexplicable need to fathom them. And Newt? Newt was one of those things.
