Felix and Torbek, the bdw party, kid Torbek au, big brother Felix au… and more.

The party where on the road heading to the next town they were walking along the path when all of a sudden Felix heard something from the bushes. Weirdly instead of instantly telling the party he just carefully walked up to the bushes. Forgetting to even tell his party. Felix crouched down and didn't even notice the voices of his companions get farther away till they couldn't be heard at all. He was focused on the little coose of a bugbear kin it looked small and starved like they had been left out here for days. He learned goblin on the road and read a couple books on them so he knows that he was probably the runt of the group left behind to die. It made him feel sick inside knowing this.
(I could never willingly leave a young kid alone. If I knew I was putting my brother in danger I would have never done it. I thought I was keeping him safe, but some parents do it knowing fairly well that the kid could die. No that they most likely will die.)
Felix started out by talking in goblin to the youngling.
"Hey little guy, what are you doing out here all on your own?"
The little bugbear flinched and hid away behind his arms peaking one eye out between fingers to get a good look of who was talking to him. At first Felix thought he wasn't gonna say anything then the small bugbear started talking.
"Torbek was left. Torbek told stay here as he wasn't good enough to stay with them."
Felix instantly noticed a couple things just from that. First, he learned he was right the bugbear had been left to die. Two the little bugbear barely knows goblin which means three they probably don't know common. Felix began to talk in goblin again.
"Would you like to come with me and my party? There are six of us and I would be the only one who can understand you. Would you be okay with that?"
The little bugbear who Felix was now guessing their name was Torbek dropped his hands and opened his eyes and mouth wide. Felix opened his arms for the bugbear and the bugbear hesitantly climbed towards Felix and accepted the hug that was offered to him. Felix began talking in goblin again.
"I'm going to pick you up now, is that okay?"
All Felix got was a nod of approval. He picked the young bugbear up. He instantly felt wet tears flud into his shirt. He talked in goblin.
"What's wrong, do you need anything? Would you like to be put down?"
Felix watched as the little bugbear shook their head no. They looked up at him and started speaking.
"No, you're nice no one nice to Torbek before."
Felix gave the young bugbear a gentle smile. And in goblin said to the young bugbear.
"Well, you should get used to it because soon more than just me will be acting kind to you!"
Felix looks up from the Goblinoid in his arms and realizes his party is nowhere in sight. Felix thinks out loud to himself in common.
"Well now where could they have gone?"
He switches his tongue to goblin.
"We are just going to continue down this path alright?"
Felix looks down towards the bugbear who seems to be happy and smiling from where they looked up happily and nodded. Felix then started to walk and started small talk with the young goblinoid in goblin.
"So Torbek? is that your name I've heard you use it when talking about yourself."
"Yes, that Torbek name."
"Well lovely name Torbek my name is Felix."
"Nice meet you Felix!"
"What gender are you?"
"Torbek is boy"
Felix and Torbek continued to talk as they walked along the path Felix also gave Torbek some food and a drink while walking. After about ten minutes of travel the young bugbear falls asleep due to exhaustion. Felix put his coat around the young bugbear to keep him warm. After another five minutes Felix begins to see figures in the distance, he hears someone call out to him he recognizes the voice he could recognize it anywhere, Toa was calling to him finally they all meat up again. and like Felix expected They all wanted answers as to why he disappeared on them and why he had a kid. So, he waited for the questions to come.

The party had been walking for about thirty-five minutes when Toa had noticed that Felix was being quiet which isn't surprising as he was usually quiet but a topic that Felix would usually join in on was brought up and he didn't say anything So Toa decided to see what was wrong.
"Hey Felix, what do you think you've been quiet for a while?"
at the sound of Toa asking Felix the party had gone quiet waiting for Felix to reply but no reply came that caused all of them to stop and look to where Felix had been last walking with them. Toa spoke up.
"Felix?"
Felix wasn't there Toa instantly started to panic he turned around wildly and called for Felix when no reply came, he turned to the rest of the party franticly.
"Felix!? Felix where are you!?"
"Guys we got to go back we all got to look for him!"
Hyrja swiftly replied while taping Toa on the back.
"It's alright Toa."
"We'll find him."
"We're going back to look for him right now, yeah?"
Caprice Chimed in.
"Y-yeah Buddy!"
"We'll F-find him real fast!"
"He- He probably got distracted by some birds or- or some cool- really cool flowers or something like that!"
Lufti looked like she was about to chime in with something too, but Iris Rudley interrupted her.
"Yes."
"What Caprice said, he probably got distracted by something stupid."
" All we probably have to do is go back to where we came from."
After Iris had stopped talking the group started to go back the way they had come. Lufti had taken this opportunity to speak the thought she had earlier.
"I wonder if Felix is a little pretty Princess, with how much he talks to animals and gets distracted by plants!"
Caprice replied
" Y-you know what!"
"Your actually right Lufti!"
"You gave me a great song idea!"
"I'll have'ta- have'ta sing it to you guys later when we are resting!"
Iris then spoke.
"Will you two quiet down! I am trying to focus!"
Caprice looked like he was going to keep talking with his hand in the air then promptly dropped it and put his hands behind him as he looked to the side. Lufti just crossed her arms then pouted turning away from Iris. they continued talking on and off to each other along the way when twenty minutes later they spotted someone in the distance walking towards them. Toa instantly called out and started running towards the figure.
"Felix!"
"Oh, thank the Gods you're okay!"
Felix put a finger to his mouth as a way to say be quiet. that was when Toa noticed the young bugbear in Felix's arms. the bugbear had Felix's coat wraped around it as the bugbear slept in Felix's arms Toa could see Felix's slightly trimbling from the cold. the rest of the party finally caught up. Iris took one good look at Felix and the Bugbear and stated.
"When we set up camp for the night, we all need to talk."
Felix gave a slight nod and followed along silently.

They had finally decided to set up camp. The walk had been surprisingly quiet Felix know that it was probably because everyone was thinking of what questions to ask him later on when they were ready to start asking. Felix was almost done setting up his sleeping area when all of a sudden, he felt a hand on his shoulder he slightly looked over and saw a red hand. Caprice's hand. He guessed it was time to start explaining he finished setting up his sleeping area and finally turned around to face the crew he had been holding Torbek the whole time. And when he finally settled, he still was.

first it was the simple questions like who was the young bugbear? Why did Felix have them? and more things about the bugbear. Then it got to the simple but hard to answer questions. Why didn't Felix say anything how was Felix feeling? Felix when ever asked could not explain why he didn't say anything to the group. When asked about his health Felix dodged the question instead opting for them to worry about the bugbear which they had learned that the bugbears name was Torbek. He asked instead if Iris had any restoration magic as the bugbear was insanely skinny and sick. Iris scoffed at his question because to her it was stupid to ask like the obvious answer would have been yes, but she stood up and walked over and casted a couple spells on Torbek she staid longer to check up on Torbek and to sneak a check up on Felix too. as they all guessed that Felix probably wouldn't let her if she had told him she was going to check on his health. Felix yawned and they all realized how late it was They told Felix To go ahead and sleep. This was the fastest they had ever seen Felix go to sleep usually he is one of the last ones to sleep. They took this chance to talk.

Toa started talking first.
" Are they both okay?"
Iris spoke up after
" Yes, they are both quite alright both of them show signs of being a little too skinny for their own good. We probably need to keep a better eye on Felix's eating habits... and his sleeping habits as they also both show exstream exaustion. Other than those two things nothing's wrong."
Toa spoke up again.
"Well, I'm glad that they are okay."
Caprice with a big smile spoke up just after.
" You- you guys wanna hear the song I made?"
Lufti cheerfully joined in.
"Absolutely! I've been wanting to hear this all night."
and so, then Caprice sang his song they talked about their future plans set up watch and went to bed.
