   Summary

   Connor stares out into the crowd, at first dazed, but then quickly becomes terrified. Terrified that they might have seen him pull out his gun.
   He has to get out. He has to.
   The deviant leader is talking with his friends, and Connor takes that as an opening. He places one foot behind him, then another, and slowly removes himself from the group on the platform. He turns to leave—
   A hand stops him.
   "Connor, hey." Markus.
