Spencer, My Beau

Summary:

On the first night after you move in with Spencer, you tell him how much he means to you in a poem.

Notes:

I wrote a poem for the first time in years!!! It’s nothing great but I’m proud of myself for sitting down and writing it instead of waiting for inspiration to hit me.

Work Text:

I lie in bed with my handsome beau,
The first night together of countless.
Here in this verse I hope to show,
That my true love for him is doubtless.

His eyes are bright, hazel and sunny,
They admire me with ardent love.
His voice is as silk as golden honey,
And sings to me like a pretty white dove.

His lips are soft and pink like a peach,
Kissing me tenderly, my sweet lover.
I wish, with my lips, his skin to reach.
Every warm place I long to discover.

His strong hands make my heart race faster,
When they cradle my own or my waist.
One day I think he’ll make grandmaster,
His brain is so superbly fast paced.

The gentle nature of his presence,
I find so profoundly sustaining.
To me he acts with the utmost pleasance,
His statistics, always entertaining.

His slender frame is so statuesque,
I admire even the way he moves.
I hope my picture I’ll find on his desk,
Because my spirit, he always soothes.

Years from now we’ll be haggard and gray,
But we’ll recall this time as fond as any.
Just as in love as from the very first day,
We’ll be together until our children are many.
