    Summary

PART I: At considerable personal risk, Spock rescues James Kirk from Orion slavers and kills Kirk's abuser during the rescue. Kirk, still traumatized, attacks Spock during a mind meld that Spock initiated. Doctor McCoy, deciding that he is too close to the two men, employs a new member of his medical team as a psychological counselor in an attempt to understand Kirk's attack. Can Kirk and Spock repair their relationship? Can Kirk forgive himself, or must he find another way to make up for his dishonor?
PART II: Jim Kirk tries to redeem himself from his past attack on Spock by attempting to save a young street kid from another Orion slaver. Can confronting the slaver and saving others from slavery banish Jim's guilt, or must he make a further sacrifice to restore his honor?

Conduct Unbecoming was first printed as a stand-alone zine in 1997 by Orion Press. Michele Arvizu, author. Randall Landers, publisher, and Ann Zewen, editor.
