Remus decied that a pat on the back to Regulus inresponse said everything that he needed. It expressed his joy for his friend(s) and it also condemned his actions as to not hurt either party. It did everything he needed!
Maybe life was as simple as he thought it could be.
Everything is coming up Remus this night and it was not going to stop now.
That was before there were the echoed shouts of Sirius and James running up the staircase where Regulus and Remus were sitted.
Remus should really remind himself that life was never going to go his way-if anything not for long-what was he to do now that the 2 people were coming into the situation complicated the already sovled solution!
He needed to speak to the fates about this descion.
