In all honesty, Regulus thought that Remus was going to have more of a reaction then just patting him on the back. Evan, Barty, Severus, and (maybe) Pandora certainly didnt.
Barty had acted like he was suddenly the most devot nun and would never even think of such a thing. Evan looked at him like he was suddenly mad and Padora was just giving him a werid look at his comment.
Which in the real world was of if she shouted her dismay and fear at what he was thinking of doing. Severus ran to the toilet as if he was about to start dry heaving at just the thought of what they would be doing.
So going to tell Remus, Regulus would admit he was neverous. But with Remus reaction it seemed he would have to worry about even Sirius reaction at this point!
