Once Albus was taken away, the Soulbound Hermione broke down sobbing, as if the reality was just hitting her....she wasn't the only one, but was perhaps was the most affected. "There must be something we can do" she said sadly. One of the Tom Riddles in the room suddenly looked thoughtful. "Perhaps there is" he said to the silent room. "You see, many years ago, i was on a dark path, one which could have led to my ruin, when He showed up, to save me from myself. I hope he, of anyone, can help."
"Who" asked James. "The Lone Traveler. He, of anyone, might have the ability and motivation."
With nary a notion that anyone had appeared, He asked "might have the motivation and ability to do what?"
"Our son, as well as multiple other Harry Potters from across the multiverse, was gravely injured and killed when this world's Albus Dumbledore used the Goblet of Fire in an attempt to drag 'his' Harry back from the universe he had fled to." Said one of the James Potters. The Lone Traveler took a look "Tom, is that you! It's been ages! And yes, I should be able to help. What I'm going to do is set up a loop that prevents this from ever happening, outside of this universe. Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't be able to do this, but The Bearded Wanker irked Boss, Death AND the Fates with this stunt, so I am allowed to do so this time."
There was a moment of silence, and then all the different Harry Potters that had been maimed and killed appeared, unharmed and uninjured, with the now reunited families disappearing back to their homes. With that, The Lone Traveler went to turn and leave, but not before imparting one bit of wisdom to the one other Harry left in the room: " Harry, whatever you do, don't ever take your loved ones for granted. You never know when you will lose them." With that, he disappeared just as suddenly as he appeared.
Harry never did take any of his family for granted. But anything else? That is a story for him to share.
