   Summary

   After fighting under Roy in the Disturbance of Bern, Fir came to live a stifling, idle life at the court of Etruria, trapped in a loveless marriage with Noah. Five years pass before she finally escapes and travels to Sacae to reconnect with her culture. While traveling across the Plains, Fir reunites with Sue and meets Lyn-–the legendary Blade Lord-–who agrees to become Fir’s mentor.

   Meanwhile, Saul–-a priest of the Elimine Church, looking to atone for his past sins–-comes to Etruria to hire mercenaries to accompany his missionary group, the so-called “Warriors of Elimine.” Saul plans to invade Sacae and force the tribes there to convert to his faith. He is accompanied by his longtime bodyguard, Dorothy, who soon begins to question her loyalty to him as conflict breaks out between the Warriors of Elimine and the Kutolah tribe–-led by Chieftain Dayan and his right-hand man, Sin.
