One day, Silver challenged Rinjin to the tournament. They stood together, side by side, their blades at the ready, while they waited for the fruit to start being launched into the air. Once it started after a countdown, they wasted no time and began slicing fruit and dodging bombs. They gained points and racked up combos as the limited time they had ticked away. It was close, but at the last second, Silver and Rinjin’s swords clashed together just as... Silver sliced the last fruit and the round ended. She won. She beat Rinjin. She was crowned tournament champion with the Golden Ember Blade and while she was celebrating, Rinjin picked up a banana from one of the piles of fruit in the dojo and threw it at her. It hit her square in the face and they silently stared at each other for around a minute.
“this is so sad can we get 666 points on fruit ninja” Silver asked, mostly unfazed by getting a banana thrown at her. Rinjin looked at her like she’d just grown a second head.
“What the hell are you talking about?” he asked.
