A= Affectionate (Are they an affectionate caregiver?)
- Very super mega
- So much love to shower to you and Crowley, especially when both of y'all are little
- Doesn't take much time either
- You control the pace and what you're okay with and Aziraphale goes along once you are being fully honest with him
- Just read the rest of this I worked from bottoms up lol
B= Behave (Are they strict? What kind of warnings do they give before giving punishments if needed?)
- PFFTTTT NO
- As long as you do daily reading and hydrate and try to eat, Aziraphale is happy. As said below, they are a sucker. They expect you to be a good kid and put their faith in you to not break that trust
- Their warnings are gentle and soft verbal ones. They don't assume you're being naughty, you're just being a little one.
- You're curious and the last thing they wanna do is make you cry over a misunderstanding or being mean when you're already fragile
- They'll give the same gentle warning 2 or 3 times before gingerly holding your hands and making you look them in the eyes, explaining why to stop what you are doing.
- You'll see them huff and sigh before raising their voice but it hurts still so you stop easy
- "Darling, Darling. Look at me, just for a moment. Please don't. You might damage those or hurt yourself. We don't want an accident, do we? Thank you, little one."
- If you don't listen still, this gets to a tone of voice change and that's the final before corner time or anything
- if you're acting out cause you're scared or don't know how to regulate emotions, Aziraphale can notice that and tries to redirect you to a distraction activity but it doesn't always work
C= Clothing (How do they dress their little?)
- matching him! Most stylish of clothes
- He would buy your clothes too instead of manifesting them
- He does somewhat listen to your suggestions but only somewhat as he mostly controls the outcome
- He likes his style of clothes!
- He would of course adhere to whatever you feel most comfy in, gender and physically and absolutely fine a way to work around any accommodations needed at all times
- If you wanna be fem, she might just get you in a cute white button up shirt with a beige sweater over top and some light blue skirts or shorts or maybe even faded tartan. Then, would match you with their normal wear or maybe a cute white and beige sweater and long skirt with their coat
- Maybe they'd look into more blue tinted stuff if you wanna be more masculine like putting you in a thin blue blouse with a beige vest and some nice pants. That already matches them well
- if you beg, they'll relent and match their clothes with a different style of yours whether it be overalls or pastel goth or goth or emo or whatever. Just do the puppy eyes, it works.
- You'd get your hair with all pretty accessories too like beige or blue headbands or clips. Aziraphale.. has no clue how to do hair but it doesn't matter! If you want your hair to look good, go ask Crowley to do it.
- Your shoes would def have glitter or cute designs though. It would not match your outfit at all lol
- When it comes to actually being dressed and possibly having trauma surrounding it, Aziraphale can thankfully miracle your clothes on and get it over with. They see how hard it can be just to do basic things after trauma so they get it over with and hug you tightly, reassuring your safety and doing grounding activities
D= Defense (How protective are they?)
- I mean he's an angel so there isn't major threats and both him and Crowley will save your ass if needed
- He's a supernatural posh being who is going to pick a fight with him or you??? Did you say some naughty things in littlespace?? Call someone a poopy head one too many times??
- He is going to assume the best in people and you. He is naive and trusting and wants to be okay
- He isn't as cautious as Crowley but has that flaming sword stashed somewhere if needed
- you're his baby and he loves you but I don't think it would ever come to that
- except Gabriel and some of the other archangels.. might smack a bitch if they dare hurt you to get to him. Aziraphale is stupid polite but everyone has their limits
E= Express (What is their love language? How do they express love?)
- Quality time is Aziraphales love language!
- This is gonna be through reading to his little and coloring with them and taking them on walks
- Secondary love language would be expression through food as he is a foody and would feel so happy knowing he's caring for you by feeding you (I was raised by an Italian who adopted me, this is a legit thing)
- Aziraphale adores you and he is neurodivergent as well which means he adores parallel play. Just being near you and being able to keep an eye on you. Like him reading as you color or him cooking as you watch cartoons. no words said unless needed and just happy in each other's company. This goes to outside littlespace too
- He would adore physical touch if you're okay with it as well but only if he is feeling up for touch, if you're okay with it, or if you really need it. Autism be funky.
F= First (How was their first experience being a caregiver? Were you the first?)
- He had Crowley before you sooo no
- But you're their first human little!!!
- As said below, he could recognize your regression before you could so kind of automatically stepped into the role even if he had to help both you and Crowley through regression and he did it with a smile
- Crowley prepared her for anything tbh and that isn't a bad thing
- I don't have much to say here as this topic can be found in almost any Aziraphale and Crowley wholesome regression fic go support other authors on AO3
G= Guide (Would they be a good teacher? What would they teach the little?)
- Of course she would be!! She is so teacher coded
- She loves reading and education and loves littles so much
- She would probably be one of the better teachers you would ever have minus over the top sugarcoating some things but what were they supposed to say??
- They do need to get over their toxic positivity and denial of certain things but that's more of a debate for fellow non littles so it's fine here
- If a little asks complicated questions, whether about death or their trauma or just.. non typical happy things, they wouldn't stray away or lie. They're honest but gentle when talking to you
- You'd know of every book or piece of literature ever so you best know you'd pass english class if you havent already
- He would treat your education as if you were a brand new kid brought into this world instead of an adult thinking like a kid so some lessons may be redundant but they're in good heart
- They might help reteach basic motor skills if you're regressed to a toddler or have you trace over the alphabet if you're a smidge older
- He's going to adjust to your regression age accordingly and keep you focused. He'll make sure you've learned something each day or been engaged then go back to spoiling you rotten. If it's non ideal days, it may just be the spoiling part without the education but it works
H= Health (How would they make sure their little is healthy?)
- Always giving them sippy cups to drink from and encouraging a sip every few minutes or so. He always keeps water available and promises hot coco or juice as a treat if they do good
- Also he cooks for them so he tries to sneak in as many veggies as they can
- Will also take them to groceries and try exotic fruits with them in order to expand their pallet
- Whenever possible, given the weather or his littles conditions, he will take them to parks and go on walks and many other things. May even take them on strolls around the neighborhood as he does chores such as collecting records from Maggie or getting some coffee with Crowley.
- He can sense illness so he takes care of that ASAP and is just super attentive
- Not a thing goes unheard of near Aziraphale when it comes to physical health and will be super sweet and encouraging for all things
- She has no problem helping you brush your teeth if needed or get a bath. It's their job and they help you with pride
- It does help a lot when it comes to lack or motivation as well as Aziraphale doesn't experience burnout as often
- Oh and had EVERY type of tea if you feel under the weather like peppermint for your tummy and chamomile for sleepy issues
- They don't mind doing a few miracles if needed.. you need some help after all.. Heaven won't know
I= Intuitive (Can they feel if their little is regressing?)
- As a supernatural being, naturally
- He could sense you regressing before you even knew the word for what you were feeling
- First time you regressed around him, he instantly started laying all attention to you extra, following you around to make sure your tiny self was safe. He just smiled and shrugged when you asked why but he knows
- After communicating, they still act the same if you're near others as they can get protective fast. Not Crowley protectiveness but still following you around
- He'll instantly miracle up a stuffie or paci or whatever else you need to fully regress once you're in an environment to do so.
J= Jealous (Are they a jealous caregiver?)
- Jealous of others? Nooooo
- Well minus him getting a bit grumpy when someone else was making you giggle like Nina with silly latte designs.
- He won't ever act on his jealousy but you're HIS baby or his and Crowley's.
- He'll pout but not tell you what's wrong and go spoil you more to make you smile or giggle and do anything twice as much cause he loves you
K= Kiss (Do they kiss their little and where?)
- So many head kisses. Nonstop. You will be drowned in head kisses!
- Boundaries are very low with Aziraphale so you set them cause he'll kiss anywhere to make you smile or giggle. He won't do lips though, ew.
- He will be EXTRA when it comes to kisses like exaggerating the noise of kissing (see parrot kisses videos or like Hamlet the chicken that's what I'm referencing)
- giggles like crazy once he sees you smile and squirm
- If you ever feel uncomfortable, he will stop in a heartbeat and never do it again until you ask
- His views are that almost all kisses are wholesome and platonic but will back off easy and not be hurt in the slightest if you get scared or uncomfortable as he understands some littles have trauma with that or touches
L= Listen (Do they like listening to their little?)
- of course they do!!! They like all your little blabbles and whines and squeaks
- They may even poke you or tickle you to hear more of them
- It makes them want to stim in return and they may even mimic your vocal sticks. this is most evident when they play with you
- They adore all your thoughts and sayings. It makes them melt.
- Hell, if you just want to talk all day, they won't stop you. It makes them smile their iconic smile and they'll ask you to keep going. It's way too cute.
M= Moment (What was their favorite moment being a caregiver?)
- Being able to feel like they had another purpose outside of Heaven and finally realizing how fucked Heaven can sometimes. Assuming this is between season 2 and 3, Aziraphale realizing how toxic Heaven has become and does introspection, realizing they still crave to have a purpose and that's why they are staying. he has Crowley of course and that never changes but after the s2 finale, Crowley left and Aziraphale feels as if he can't show his face again for some times. So, he leaves Heaven once he realizes how much it hurts Crowley but now back on Earth, is itching for a sense of purpose. Then, he finds you or remembers you or whatever else.
- You let him feel worthy and let him take care of you and give him a new routine so his autistic self doesn't go crazy. You make him feel loved and wanted and he can do the same to you. It also gives variety in a way he is comfortable with as he can explore other love forms other than what he feels to Crowley.
- Security. He felt secure and happy again after the distress of the finale.
- He had you cuddled up to him, reading Jane Austens pride and prejudice silently as you slept. You were fast asleep and he looked at you and felt *happy*. He felt proud of you and himself and felt fulfilled as much as he could then. Now, with you and Crowley, he feels complete. He cherishes you both so much
N= Nurse (What is their reaction if their little gets hurt? How do they treat boo-boos?)
- I'm writing this bottoms up cause I'm weird but reference the queasy section.
- They feel sad their little got hurt and within seconds, will hold them and try helping them ASAP
- They do feel a tad bad as Aziraphale feels they should have kept better watch, but accidents happen, right?
- There will be many kisses to your head as he bandages your finger or whatever else
- They validate your tears but insist you'll be fine
- "Shh.. Shh.. it's alright. Dad's got you. You'll be okay, just need to put this band-aid on, alright? You're doing so well, my dear."
O= Once upon a time (Does the caregiver enjoy telling bedtime stories? What kind?)
- OF COURSE AZIRAPHALE DOES
- The entire literary world is at Aziraphales fingertips so you bet you'll get any story you want whether you know it or not
- They do try to keep it as child friendly as possible though h to the point of slightly censoring some of Grimm's fairy tales to avoid nightmares
- Their favorite series to read to you would be Winnie the Pooh as it is generally very wholesome and they can do all the voices to make you giggle
- They'll even sing the theme song for you if you ask nicely
- They adore reading you the Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy too. Even if you don't fully get all of its jokes in your little form
- They'll have you on their lap or into their side as they to you, squeezing you when intense moments come up in the stories
P= Pet names (What would they call their little? What would their little call them?)
- Aziraphale is old fashioned so none of this "good cold McDonald's chicken nuggets" pet name shit like Crowley would do /j
- Okay shitpost aside, dear and deary would be TOP of the list
- "Oh, be a dear and hand me that paper" and "You're doing so, so, well, deary"
- If he's been your caregiver for a LONG time, it might cross over into gentle claiming such as calling you her baby and just putting a claim before nicknames
- "You're the sweetest little thing I could ask for. You're my perfect little angel."
- Hugs would be followed with, "There you go, little one. Such a good squeeze! You can hug me all you want."
- Aziraphale wouldn't say kiddo much as it feels like a more.. new name to him? Hard to explain but he rarely says kid or kiddo. He prefers just little one. It makes him feel secure and he fully gets that concept as while you act like a kid when you're regressed, you technically aren't which confuses Aziraphales brain in the weirdest way so he doesn't like saying kid but You're still his baby. Don't question it.
- He doesn't like his little calling him by the proper name Aziraphale in littlespace, so he shortens it to just Azi so you can still call him by his name if you're uncomfortable addressing them otherwise and to make it easier on your little self and to not be as professional as people don't call him Aziraphale often unless it's a work thing
- He would melt at being called by any title you wish to give them. Mama makes her smile, Dada makes her wanna hug you all day long, even just whines in her direction make her heart melt into a puddle.
Q= Queasy (How weak is their stomach when it comes to puke? How well can they care for a sick little and how much experience with illness do they have?)
- They don't get sick at all. Ever. So, they can handle puke or spit up or even blood if that happens. Hell, do they even have a stomach to feel sick at??? Angel anatomy is an anomaly
- They would be great at caring for sickness or booboos though. They can miracle any supplies they need but chances are, but them like every other thing they do.
- They read a lot, including medical books, so they have a major grasp on treating any ailment and never fill in confidence too
- He'd hush you gently and tell you, they have you and it'll be okay. They'd take you through every little thing you're doing to educate and calm you, giving no surprises and kiss whatever booboo needs kissed.
- Only issue is if you struggle and that worries them a bit as they'd worry hurting you accidentally if they try to help. This is when them keeping comfort items close by helps. You can see the confidence drain from their eyes if you struggle and don't listen and it usually gets you to calm down as they gently try grounding you down
- For actually sickness, you'd get nonstop baby treatment, even out of littlespace if that's okay. Constant fluids (including hot chocolate as a treat every day if you drink enough water or juice or feel okay for it), constant temperature checks with kisses to the forehead as he can tell from that because angel logic, constant hugs and snuggles as he can't get sick.
- Lots of laying on Aziraphales chest as you feel drowsy and they rubbing your back if you puke. They would of course change our of their usual clothes cause while they don't mind puke or even puke against their corporeal form, they will die internally if their clothes get yucky.
- Lots of "Shh.. it's okay. Get it out of your system" with no judgement
R= Rough (How do they punish their little? Is it gentle or rough?)
- Oh they're a sucker. BIG SUCKA.
- They'd never be rough or mean or justified even if you're being a massive brat. They can be a pushover but they can have their limits.. it just takes a stupid long amount of time to get there.
- Any lip quivers or waterworks gets them to back down immediately too. Just don't abuse any of this, you'll be break their heart if you do
- Punishments would usually be non-existent or only go so far as a time out corner. They'd never take away comfort items as they know it could be extremely distressing and they don't want to make you upset for something you didn't ask for
- If you're being naughty, they might ignore it in hopes you'd just stop on your own. Kids have moments of curiosity, it doesn't mean malice most of the time and just want to explore. However, if this gets to the point of breaking or hurt something, including yourself, they instantly, but gently pull you away. They try being as soft as they can and explaining why you shouldn't do that
- She'd never get mad over little kid shenanigans or you just poking them or saying repetitive things. They got endless patience. The issue comes when possible harm is involved both physically and emotionally
- If you're trying to hurt anything, then gently restraining your movement or hugging you as they talk might be an option before going into time out. Then, you'll be given time to calm down and they will make you write an apology or say it out loud.
- They always reassure that they love you though and their upset ness isn't going to be long but you need to behave as well
S= Seasons (Their favorite season to play with their little and why?)
-She likes spring the most, but between the spring and summer period especially as they can go have picnics with you and introduce you to different flower gardens (they didn't pretend to be the gardener Brother Francis for nothing) and nice weather.
- Hell, she might even not wear her signature coat for once for something more freeing and dress you in accordance to match as well.
- She would adore holding you on her lap as she reads to you Alice in Wonderland and you guys finish some snacks. Or, hold your hand as he has you smell different varieties of roses or herbs
- their favorite memory so far would be encountering some lamb's ear plant and gently picking one for you, having you hold it and rub it and seeing your little face at how soft it is
T= Toys (Would they spoil their little with toys? Would they prefer to play with or without the toys for their little?)
- Oh you'd be spoiled ROTTEN
- By both Aziraphale and Crowley but this is about Aziraphale so gonna try to keep focused. You would get any toy you wanted as long as they think you've earned it (no effort required really)
- They would love spoiling you with books especially, that being their top gift, followed by board games, then toys like dolls or cars.
- Aziraphale would be okay with playing with you with toys and without, just what you want. He's got a big imagination just for little ones so he can run with any story line. He does all the voices too and dramatics to get you fully immersed
U= Useful (What is one useful thing they learned before becoming a caregiver that comes in handy now?)
- being around since the beginning of time probably helped. Maybe. A little.
- He's been around a LOT of kids to practical strangers to raising Warlock, so he has a lot of practice with tiny humans and their general mindset
- Warlock did a whole lot to make him a good one on one caregiver
- Crowley regressing also helped him too
- He also recognizes that kids will react different than adults during stress, so he is more cautious and super gentle while you're regressed so you don't have a lack of trust with him.
V= Vulnerable (Would they show vulnerability around their little?)
- I would say yes but it depends on the vulnerability cause he's an angel so the standards are different. I would assume emotional vulnerability is the big one here and which, he doesn't have a lot as he reads a lot and has had tons of experience with humans as a whole but children too.
- there may be thoughts that cross her mind of not being a good enough caregiver but just seeing your smile tells them they are doing enough. If it gets real and, they may ask for reassurance (subtly of course or as much as they can get)
- for the whole emotional with Crowley or Heaven, he would try keeping it away from you cause those are big adult emotions and he shouldnt burden you with his work in heaven. He may talk about Crowley and the feelings he has such as confliction and love but stop himself before he spills too much as he is trying to repress his own emotions there/doesn't understand them and to not worry you
W= Weep (What is their first reaction when their little starts crying?)
- instant panic and needing to help their baby. Fuck whatever else was happening, they have a more important job now.
- they'd instantly scoop you into their arms and hug you, gently shushing you and trying to get you to a state where you can explain what happened. They're not gonna force you to tell them but they can't do much but hug you unless you show them somehow
- They have STRONG paternal/maternal instincts even while not raising many children (and Crowley may have rubbed off on that), but in combination with their autism, it makes them panic unless they have direct info over what happened. They need to know how to fix it and it's gonna be a while before they understand that sometimes you just need to cry or don't want to explain
- but, they'd still put you on their lap and hold you close or bounce you on their lap to make you smile. They'd offer stories like Alice In Wonderland or fairy tales like Thumbelina
- He wouldn't instant grab your pacifier or any other comfort items until you're to the point of being somewhat calmed down as they are scared to take their eyes off of you for a second
- He wouldn't feel bad if you did cry though or not feeling guilty. Emotions happen, so why should he feel guilty? Unless he did something but that's another story. Aziraphale would hold you and do everything without worrying about himself cause that's not in his emotional battery cards right now.
- He would be a bit shocked in cases of PTSD crying such as being repulsed by touch as his first thought is to hold you close but if he sees you say no or freak out more, he'd back away. At that point, he may fully shut down and call Crowley to help him until he knows how to fix the problem
- in cases of temper tantrum tears, he would, with permission, hold you tight and gently squeeze you to calm you and ground you back to reality. Or he would take your hands and try guiding you to calm down through giving you instructions to just focus on him and not what may have upset you. Such as asking what his hands feel like, that you can squeeze him, to tell him what you see, etc.
X= Xylophone (what music or sounds would they surround little with?)
- classical music and you will get sick of it
- there is a smidge of Queen from Crowleys influence but mostly classical tunes
- lullabies aplenty and she would own some music boxes for you to listen to as well
- the music boxes may have nursery rhyme tunes
Y= Yummy (Do they know how to cook? Do they enjoy cooking for their little?)
- Yes! Well.. sort of.
- Azi is a foody and would love to learn but the issue is that he is the only person who eats his own food as Crowley eats so little and he hates wasting food.
- buuuut with a little around, he now has another mouth to feed! So, you are gonna be his taste tester whether you like it or not (don't worry, it's mostly good and if not, he could miracle it or make you forget how bad it was quickly)
- He would adore cooking for you as food is a love language for him and he loves you.
- He would try so many new recipes with you, you'd never get bored! Now, he overestimates himself sometimes so not all are good as stated before but he's trying
- He especially loves giving you hot chocolate as you wait for dinner or while he reads to you. It's calm and nice and a kid friendly drink. Also, easy to make and he knows to not mess it up.
- Crowley would still want to take Aziraphale out on dinner dates though so you'd still get food made from someone who isn't Aziraphale too but his cooking has so much love in it
Z= Zzz (Naptime and bedtime headcanons)
- He is an angel and doesn't need to sleep ever but he would make sure you would get plenty as he knows humans need a lot.
- Like strict enforcing bedtime at around 9 pm every night unless it's a special occasion. Even when you're not regressed and in a bigger headspace, he's gonna try and make you have a sleep schedule. (*Shudders*)
- He would make you go to bed before 10 pm certainly as well and you can honestly sleep for as long as you want if you don't have work or other responsibilities the next day. He needs his baby to well rested.
- He will also gently make nap time a thing every day you're regressed cause it's a lot of work being so tiny! They know how sleepy you get and they aren't gonna force you to stay awake all day like a monster. He would kind of like for you to not nap at 5 pm or later cause it might be harder for you to go to bed, but he isn't gonna stop you if you just lay down and go to sleep. He'll figure it out later. He also likes to keep naps and hour max.
- Usually when you sleep, he's either gonna tuck you in and go work at his bookshop or pretend to be human OR he will hold you against his chest until you sleep then let go to read or do other things
- He doesn't leave the bookshop if you're asleep after regression just in case of nightmares or anything else
- He will keep melatonin gummies around if needed
- He won't alter his voice or tone much for sleepy time but he would speak slower for you
- He is always nearby if you need something
