Work Text:
Millie squealed as they got onto a trot but still rose, unsteadily, trying to keep up with Trixie’s beat, and failing miserably. Flora glanced over, and saw the breath getting practically beaten out of her girlfriend with every hoof-fall.
She pulled on Casper’s reins, slowing to a walk, and called over, “Walk, go to a walk, pull back gently . There you go.”
“That was fun,” she sounded exhilarated, which surprised Flora since she’d assumed that Millie hadn’t been enjoying herself. “I think I need more practise though.”
“That’s okay,” she smiled, stretching her shoulders back. “We’ll have plenty more, love.”
