Work Text:
Tim rummaged through his utility belt.
“Red.”
He couldn't find it-
“Red.”
Where was it, he had to have it somewhere!
“Red Robin.”
He couldn't afford to not have it, he needed it!
“Tim…”
He looked up to Joker's newest victim.
She was as beautiful as ever, kind eyes washed over him with tears glittering. Her bonds held her still and the wires roaming across her body came to rest center at a ticking package.
He wanted to throw up.
His Marinette.
He couldn't lose her.
She was the most important person in the world to him.
“Tim it's okay…”
Tears flowed softly from her eyes, the oceanic blues calming.
Tim shook his head, “No. No, I can't. I will save you. I can't not save you.”
Marinette shook her head and he felt pathetically desperate.
“Mari I can't!”
She gave him the sweetest smile, “Tim you have to let me go.”
He crumpled to the ground as sobs wracked his body.
Nightmares had never been so haunting.
