Work Text:
Marinette hummed as she snuggled deeper into the covers of the bed.
Tim, already half asleep, wrapped an arm around her.
Blushing, she kissed his forehead and watched a dopey smile form on his face.
“How'd I get so lucky that you're my girlfriend?”
Marinette giggled softly, her blush still prominent, “Tim I love you, luck brought us together but it was you that I decided to stay. You're an amazing boyfriend.”
Literally luck.
If Tikki hadn't sneezed when she did, Marinette may have never met Tim.
Or rather Red Robin.
That was besides the point.
She continued, “You're kind and caring and thoughtful… I'm grateful to have you in my life.”
Her sleepy boyfriend snuggled closer and she happily tucked her head under his chin.
Staying at the manor tonight had been a good idea, not just because it was bad weather out, but also because she could enjoy being with Tim.
He really was a sweet boyfriend.
Marinette knew he often doubted himself and wondered if he was worth her love, but she'd remind him every day as long as it'd take if that was what it took.
Because she loved him.
And he loved her.
Closing her eyes she relaxed for sleep when a light flashed behind her eyelids.
“Tim, why is there a Dora night light in your room?”
…
“Dammit Jason…”
