   Summary

   The glowing moon and the shining stars crowned her in stardust and moonlight, they bathed her in glory. The gods assigned her a doleful destiny, entrusted her with a duty that would demand everything. The passing of time lapped at the shore of her until she transformed into a myth, a legend, a story, a queen who had no subjects and no kingdom, a sorceress with no magic, a child with no family. And through it all, the only things that kept Selene standing were the ghosts haunting her, the memories of spring days spent in the sun and the promise that the end would be as sweet as the beginning.
