Two weeks have passed since Rody decided to quit his job at Vincent's Bistro and around three weeks have passed since Manon hasn't picked up. Needing money, needing human contact, needing anything- Rody drags his shoes back to Vince's restaurant, only needing to ask once before he was rehired on the spot. All seems much better than before, Vince's spirits are lightened, the chefs aren't too tense and with any slip up Rody happens to have doesn't lead to a flinch at the thought of being reprimanded... All seems good.
Two weeks have passed since Vincent watched Rody walk out, only sometime has passed since Vincent strangled Manon to death in the kitchen of his apartment, dragging her lifeless corpse into his Bistro's freezer to get to work. Slowly drawing out of his state of hunger Rody slips back into his kitchen, asking once for a job and without Vincent's mind even flickering he welcomes the waiter back, all is good.
