The Personal Rules of Class 1-A

Summary:

Class 1-A needed rules to keep themselves from losing it at the world. They needed someone who understood, and Aizawa stepped up to the challenge. These were his kids, and he refused to let them be pushed down or hurt because of a slip of the tongue.

Or, or, the one where Aizawa is a dad, and his kids need to be interreacted with carefully.

Chapter 1: Aizawa Sets The Rules

Chapter Text

0. The Rules Creation

“Do we know why Aizawa called all of us down?” Izuku whispered, fiddling with a fidget cube as they sat in between Todoroki and Iida. Uraraka was sitting on the other side of Iida, while Tsu sat on the other side of Todoroki with a blanket wrapped around her. Spread out among the rest of the common room on the various couches and chairs was the rest of class 1-A, all clustered into closest friend groups or any couples that wanted to cuddle openly. Izuku will never tell Bakugou that they got a picture of Kirishima draped across his back and cuddling with him.

“Not yet, Aizawa said he was rounding up the other kids.” Kaminari chimed in. Said teen was curled up in his chair, an insulated chair that Kaminari was safe quirk wise to curl up in and just pass out. They had a weighted blanket draped across them as well.

“Oh! Then I don’t think we’re in trouble…” Izuku hummed, leaning back and also taking the time to curl into Todoroki’s side. He was on the cold side of the dual-quirked teen, while Tsu was curled on the warm side.

“Why would we be in trouble? As a collective?” Bakugou asked incredulously. Izuku stuck their tongue out at the blond. Bakugou glared back, almost making a move to charge forward towards the greenette. But Kirishima wrapped his arms around Bakugou fully, and the blond settled back down.

“I’m sorry, but do we not remember five of you sneaking out after a kidnapped party?” Momo asked, raising an eyebrow from where she was curled up on a loveseat with Jiro, the two of them sharing a blanket. “We all got in trouble for that one, because we all knew you were going to do it.”

“Or are we forgetting Hosu?” Jiro added, turning a page in her book. She tilted her head and made a note on the page. Momo took a sip of her drink, tea if Izuku was correct. It was one of her favorite drinks if he remembered correctly. Jiro turned the book to her and showed it to her, and Momo’s eyes lit up. The book cover showed it was a recipe book, or at least the theory of recipes.

“Hosu… was a misjudged situation.” Iida responded, curling up with Uraraka. Izuku cooed at them. They turned and found a blanket and threw it on the two of them. “With an incorrect response.” He sniffed, though the smile on his face showed he wasn’t truly upset with the conversation.

“Damn right it was.” Izuku merely smiled and waved as Aizawa walked into the common room. He was carrying Eri as Mic herded in the Big three and Keigo. Eri was resting her head on Aizawa’s shoulder, and Izuku snapped a picture as fast as he could before Aizawa either stopped them, or Eri noticed him.

The glare he got was met with a smile as Izuku sent it to the class chat, which Mic ‘secretly’ went and saved the photo.

“Zu!” Eri exclaimed happily. She managed to wait long enough for Aizawa to put her down, but she quickly turned and ran towards Izuku. She was happy to be put in his lap, where she curled up and cuddled with him as they looked back at their parent figures. Keigo and The Big Three were all ushered to any seat available as Midnight also walked in.

“Why were we all summoned, oh father one.” Mirio asked, earning a few giggles, both from students and adults alike. He was sitting on the floor, back against Amajiki’s legs as Nejired curled into Amajiki’s side. Ironically, the only spot for them was on the same couch as Bakugou and Kirishima, so that meant that Kirishima was also able to cling to either his boyfriend, or to his older brother figure.

“Rules. We are setting up class rules. These rules will extend to The Big Three, Keigo, and Eri, hence why they are here.” Aizawa said, catching the attention of everyone in the vicinity. He was standing on the podium, something that Yaoyorozu had made when they needed announcements done. He had Midnight to his left and Mic to his right, which made an imposing sight if they weren’t comfortable with their teachers.

“What kind of rules?” Izuku asked, wrapping their arms around Eri as she shuddered slightly.

“Rules to protect everyone from situations that could overwhelm them, or upset them, or hurt them.” Aizawa answered, he had a folder, a big folder, that he flipped open and pulled out paper clipped paper. He handed half to Midnight, and the other half to Mic, and the two pros began to hand them out. Mic handed two to Izuku; one for Eri and one for them, with a smile.

“Take a look through them, and rules can be added to or changed should the need arise. There are dorm rules, and rules for each person.” Mic added once they and Midnight were back next to Aizawa. Several classmates were already flipping through the loose pieces of paper, taking note of every rule.

Izuku was flipping through them too, quietly reading the rules to Eri and pointing them out. They were proud of how quickly she was catching onto both the rules, and the names of the classmates without anyone pointing them out.

“These are your copies of the rules, any time they are updated you will be told and a new copy will be handed out.” Aizawa called everyone back to attention. Eri carefully took her list of rules from Izuku, holding them carefully as she looked towards everyone’s father figure.

“Are there any questions, little listeners?” Mic asked, scanning the room for anyone who looked either uneasy, unsure, or hesitant. “No? That’s okay, if anyone thinks of any you can come to any of us three.” Mic assured with a bright smile.

“Is this what having a family is like?” Keigo asked, whispering quietly to Tokoyami. Deep sadness rushed through Izuku, and they were pretty sure that it went through everyone else too.

“Yes… sorta…” Tokoyami shrugged.

“That being said, and Keigo if you have any questions remember you can come to us or anyone in the class,” Aizawa pointed at him, to which Keigo nodded. “Dinner is soon, and we already asked Lunch Rush to handle dinner for you all tonight, and all your favorites are gonna get delivered here.” Eri perked up, having gotten a taste of Katsudon because of Izuku and it was currently her favorite. It was Izuku’s favorite too.
