At the sight of an ancient love poem, written by a mortal to her adepti lover, he'd gotten that glint in his eyes that he always does, when he sees something he really likes – decadent treats, eye-wateringly expensive jewelry, Childe – and Childe makes it a point to get Zhongli whatever he wants whenever he looks like that.
So he needs to write a poem. A devastatingly beautiful one.
