Summary
I made a realization that there are very few Au's in Texas Chainsaw fics. I was to change that. A while back I thought about the Hewitt family being in the 1900s and just now started to think about it again. I think it'll be a lot of fun. I'm also not taking this fic super seriously (like it'll be a good read, but I just want to get it written and not necessarily write a masterpiece). I want this story to be equivalent to TCM the Beginning, Just old. With that said...

Emma Marie Burrows had just lost her father. He was all she had. Her mother had long since passed a few years after her birth and, due to this, had no siblings. What was there left to do? There was nothing left here in Virginia. Why stay? Emma decided that she would move on. Leave what she had behind for westward expansion, well what was left of it (expansion formally ends in 1893. I want this to be right about then. Maybe 1887 or so).
