Summary
The curse reaches his metaphysical fingers to scour Yuji's soul, leaving a bruise, leaving his mark. Placing his infection deep in the wound. He'll eventually bend the sorcerer to his will, rather than break him. He plans to spoil Yuji’s every day, whispering sweet poisons to rattle his sense of self, and to stain his every night, conjuring visions of a life in ruin because of his own inadequacy. And amidst the wreckage, there would always be the curse, a malevolent shadow offering the illusion of comfort and control.
Who is using whom? Who is consuming whom? These are questions Yuji struggles with, stuck in a spiritual tug of war that he doesn’t know if he can win.
