At Night Raven College, there lives a decades-old tradition. Along with assigning dorms, the Dark Mirror gives every student a special mark somewhere on their body. Those with matching marks are known as “soulmates”—platonic or romantic, just one or multiple, they are the ones they are destined for.
Its intended function is to bring together a school that’s not well-known for its ability to cooperate with itself. It’s supposed to be practical, and it’s not that the freshmen don’t know this…
…It’s just that they sort of wish they could burn their marks right off their skin.
