“This is Tucker Foley, Tech Master, how may I help you?”
Tim rolled his eyes at the response, “This is Tim Drake, my brother mentioned you were interested in something from me?” The squeak on the other side of the phone causing Tim’s smile to widen. “I was hoping we could work out a bit of a trade.”
“Ye-yes?”
“You see my brother seems quite enamored with your friend and well, Jason’s self-perseveration skills when it comes to people he cares about leaves much to be desired.”
“O-oh?”
“I want information on the ectoplasmic based beings like your friend and information on weapons that can be used to affect them. I am not asking you to hide that I want this information. In fact I am planning on you giving this information to your friend.”
“What? Why?”
“I could easily get this information from hacking your friend’s parent’s research. If I wanted to harm your friend I could build something based on the energy my brother outputs in his alternate form. I want your friend to know that I have this information so he knows if he hurts my brother I have what I need to hurt him for hurting my brother.”
“Wait, this is a shovel talk?”
“Yes. As I said my brother isn’t the best at self-preservation when it comes to people he cares about, someone needs to make sure your friend is aware that there will be consequences if he hurts Jason.”
“Oh, uh I can talk with Danny.”
“Good. Now what were you looking for from me?”
“Um… your autograph?”
Tim barely held back a chuckle, “That can be arranged, now Dick also mentioned you’ve made a few computer programs when it comes to ghosts? I would be interested in looking at them, with Jason now interacting with the ghosts of Gotham it would be nice to have more information for the rest of us to monitor or assist if he encounters any issues.”
“Sure! I have a couple programs that you might find useful!” Slightly muffled Tim’s sharp ears caught Tucker soft, “Oh my god Tim Drake wants to look at my programs.” Before Tucker’s voice came back to the phone. “I could send some with Jason after his next ecto-dialysis treatment.”
“Wonderful, it is great talking with you, after I receive your programs I may have further questions so I may reach out to you again if that is alright with you?”
“YES!”
“Alright I look forward to future conversations, please send the information I requested with Jason along with those programs. Have a good day Mr. Foley.”
Hanging up the phone after Tucker managed his own good bye Tim finally let himself break down laughing. He could never understand how people could be so flustered when talking with Tim Drake and not Red Robin but it was sure entertaining. Maybe he would have to come along on one of Jason’s future appointments after he got the information he wanted. Seeing the other young man freak out about meeting him would be entertaining.
