Summary
Just as she picks her head up to scan the room again there are arms wrapping around her and the faux fur lining of a pink puffer jacket tickles her nose. The smell of lemon and sweet pea fills her nostrils and Changbin relaxes instantly. She pulls herself up onto her feet and drags the smaller girls up from crouching over her. When they finally pull apart, Felix is there. She’s as beautiful as the last time Changbin saw her and it makes a smile spread over her lips. “Lix,” Is all she can manage to get out.
Giggling, Felix presses forward to land their first kiss, reunited, on Changbin’s lips. It’s brief but it feels like pops of sparklers and the shine of the sun. Changbin is smiling still when Felix puts a hand on her suitcase and takes Changbin’s hand in her other free palm. “It’s so nice to finally see you again, my love.” Felix oozes romanticism from her pores normally but with the distance finally being broken, Changbin can sense she’s in for so much more than normal. “Why don’t we head home? I have so much to tell you about! Oh! And I got you a present for later!” She smiles at Changbin and the older of the two can’t tell if it’s cheeky or just excited.
