AITA for throwing someone's phone outside of a window and breaking it?
I (48m, General of a highly classified specialized unit) am currently trying to stop a musical apocalypse.

Now, I ( 36M ) had hit someone over the head with my gun. Brought him to a secure location away from any spore. Since i have some humanity I decide to spare him if he gives me a valid reason.
He gives me a valid reason and so I spare him.
Now, The spores I mentioned earlier are extremely important to this subject.
We're currently dealing with, as I stated, A musical Apocalypse. Or what the infected have been calling " The Apotheosis "
There are three main ways the apotheosis could spread.
Injury, Spore, And Consumption.
Spore comes from the meteor, Music draws the infected, Consumption comes from the infected, Injury comes from the infected.
If the Apotheosized get you, You are dead.
But anyways, I ask him to synchronize his time piece with mine ( A watch of some sort ) and he pulls out an iPhone.

Obviously, this is unacceptable. Time is an incredible thing and must have it's own tool (i.e : a watch) to tell it.
For that, I grab his phone and smash it, effectively getting rid of the godforsaken item. Besides, we could not have anyone spreading the apotheosis through something like a cell phone.
To replace his phone, I give him the watch.
So, AITA?
