It rained heavily, the raindrops stained the clear window as the cloudy skies stormed on.
A blond girl breathes a sigh, It never stops does it?
Tenma Saki, the younger sister of the Tenma Family. Due to her weak health, she always stayed inside the hospital.
Her family would visit her often, always sending her gifts and cheering her up.
"Saki I'll come back tommorrow!!" her brother waved his goodbyes.
"I can't wait to see the continuation Onii-chan!!" She waved back.
Her mother spoke, "By the mean time, please get some rest Saki." Reminding her.
"Of course! But when will I finally get better..?" She asked, worried. How long will I be here..
It had been months since she stayed, she wasn't even able to go to Miyamasuzaka in a long while. She missed her friends, her life, her-
Someone tapped on her shoulder and gripped it tightly.
"Hey." Her mother looked at her dearly with a fond smile.
"I'm sure if you get enough rest you will get better. Now goodnight my dear." She kissed Saki's forehead.
The warm and soft tender of her mother's lips, it gave her warmth that she needed. Even in these hard times, they were there for her, she was happy. But it wasn't enough. .
"Y-you're right mom! Goodnight!" She smiled happily as they waved their goodbyes. Mom's right.. I should get some rest..
She layed down on the bed, prepared to go to sleep at any time. But her eyes stayed open, unable to sleep.
Its still raining..
She watched the rain from the side dropped onto the window. The repeated tips and tap sounds she heard, feeling like someone was knocking to her. It kept her awake.
Does it really matter..?
She sat up, and continued staring at the window. She needed sleep.
Was what mother told me really true..?
Will I ever get better and leave this place..?
Deep thoughts ran inside her head, her palms sweat even when it was cold, the noises felt blurry, she looked at her clothes. Hospital clothes.
Why am I still here?
I should be with my friends, my brother, at home..!
I should be eating with them! Playing with Ichhan and the others!! I-I..!
I want to go to school, have fun and learn.. Why am I always stuck in this damn place!?
WHY DID THIS HAPPENED!?
I JUST WANTED TO HAVE A NORMAL LIFE, ISN'T THAT SO SIMPLE ENOUGH!?
I HATE THIS! I DON'T UNDERSTAND ANY OF IT!! WHY!!! THAT'S ALL I WANTED YET I STILL DON'T GET THAT!?
Hiccups of beathing and tears fumbled to her face, umable to take it anymore. She cried and cried, till her eyes were puffy red. She couldn't help it, and as she weeped, tears stained her clothing and blanket. She didn't want to be here anymore.
After hitches of breath, she finally calmed down, tired from all those tears. She looked at her hands, they were wet, her face too was wet. She rubbed it off. Now, she was ready to sleep.
Before she did, she heard the rain stopped. It felt so sudden, and the clouds faded away as it showed the night sky.
She looked up, noticing the rain had stopped. T-the sky..!
..It was beautiful.
Even when there were still raindrops that stuck on the window sill, the night sky was beautiful. The twinkling shining stars were bright as ever! It was as if they were looking at her.

A shooting star passed by the solar sky, its brightness like the sun. It truly was a spectacular sight to behold!
It remined Saki of what her friend said in the past.
"Saki look!" Ichika pointed.
"Woah!! its a shooting star!" her mouth wide open in amazement.
Honami giggled, "I heard there's a myth that, if you wish on a shooting star, your wish could come true!" she stated.
"Wait really!?" Saki was surprised.
Shiho chuckled, "You didn't know?" she asked.
"Well its not like I go outside a lot because.." she trailed off.
"Its okay Saki, right now you're here right? Why not make a wish?" Ichika suggested.
"Oh yeah!! I wish..!" Saki closed her eyes shut thinking of a great wish.
"Don't tell it or else it won't come true!" Shiho shouted.
"Why not!?" Saki aruged.
Honami giggled, "Those two.."

I wish to be healthy again..!
I wish I could no longer be stuck in this place, to be with onii-chan and my friends..! I-I wish I could just have a normal life!!
She looked at the sky, hope filled her eyes. Maybe.. Just maybe..!

After a few moments of waiting, she sighed. But that's just a myth isn't it? There's no way it will come true..
She gripped her blanket hard, frustrated at herself. Why am I even relying on a shooting star..? Am I really that desperate..
Before the tears could break out again, she wiped her eyes. I should probably go to bed before a nurse finds out..
Saki closes her eyes, and darkness sees her once more.

The beeping continues, again and again..

Saki opens her eyes sleepily, "w-what is.."

She tirelessly opens her eyes despite wanting to keep sleeping.

The walls were a shade of pink orange, there was a cosmetic stand next to the door. Huge bright windows that covered the right side of the room, it was a big room.. Wait a second..

The beeping of her phone still continued.
Saki rubbed her eyes for a moment, trying to process it.
"..wait.. WHAT!?" shouted as she sat up quickly. My room..!

Wait my room? Why am I in here..?

Saki checks her phone, oh its just my phone.. she turns it off.
"But wait.. did it actually..!" She remembers.
I wish to be healthy again..!
I wish I could no longer be stuck in this place, to be with onii-chan and my friends..! I-I wish I could just have a normal life!!
"T-there's no way it actually worked.." She looked at her clothes, its not a hospital gown..
