“Damon, I have a question. Are you free on Tuesday and Wednesday, the 30th and 31th of January, maybe?”
Damon looked deeply in Kris’s eyes, thinking about the answer. His mind was wandering around, curious about what Kris was going to say next.
“Yeah, probably, I don't have any photoshoots scheduled. Do you have something interesting to propose to me? “
“Actually, yes. Very interesting. You better feel honored, because you will be one of very few people invited.”
“Invited? Invited to what?”
“Jan and Nace's wedding.”
“What? A wedding? A wedding? I didn't know they were engaged.”
“It's a quite fresh thing. They got engaged in October.”
“In October? 2022?”
“2023.”
“Wow! And the wedding now? This month? Why so quickly?”
“I mean… Look at them. The second you see them, you know they're meant for each other. They have been dancing around each other for months. They could have been together much earlier, but…”
“But what?” asked Damon impatiently.
“But Nace was not single. He had a long time girlfriend, she met her before joining us. It wasn't perfect between them for a long time, but Nace had not enough… I don't even know what to call it? Courage? Guts? Courage to admit that they weren't meant for each other? Courage to admit that he could be in a relationship with a MAN? Long story short, finally, she dumped him the day before Stožice. Then we went to Thailand… and the rest is history.”
“Oh, wow!” Damon was so moved that he couldn't find any proper words of response.
“So, are you fancy going? Bojan, Jan and Nace are departing two days before us, me and Jure are taking the flight the 30th in the morning. And you know, maybe, afterwards, we could have another photoshoot? By the lake? You could make a nymph out of me.”
Damon couldn't say no to his muse.
