Work Text:
"Hey Mika?"
"Yeah Yuu?"
Under a sky illuminated by the galaxies and its stars, two children about the age of 12 lay on a blanket upon the grass. A blonde boy whose hair looks touchably soft, with eyes to rival the sea and beside him a boy with unruly hair the color of a raven's wings and eyes the color of emerald. The raven turned his head, the movement catching the blonde's eye and making him turn on reflex. Emerald gems meet a cerulean gaze, and the raven smiles bright and wide, causing the blonde to smile back.
"Do you think my mom is somewhere up there?" the raven suddenly whispers, his question weighing heavy on the blonde's heart. Mika, the blonde boy, slides his hand from where it was resting on his stomach to intertwine with the raven's. A squeeze to his hand was given in response. "I bet you she is. She's probably the brightest one!", Mika replies earnestly using his free hand to gesture to the sky. This makes the raven, Yuu, smile and eyes sparkle. He nods enthusiastically, looking back to the sky. His heart aches a bit and his smile is bittersweet.
It's only been 3 months but it feels like yesterday that he was walking with his mother down the street, soda in one hand and his mother's hand in the other. It was a nice day outside so his mother thought it was a good idea to get some fresh air. She looked so peaceful that day, long charcoal hair setting perfect upon her slender shoulders, aqua eyes shining and her smile wrinkled from years of laughter. They were only supposed to go for a quick walk to the park, but Yuu wanted a soda so he begged his mother who laughed at his childish antics and complied. They were walking the crosswalk but the only thing Yuu remembers after that is the push of his mother's hands on his shoulders and the sound of a car horn and screams.
The feeling of hands cupping his face snaps him out of the flashback. His vision is blurry. That's weird? He has perfect vision. The silhouette of his best friend hovering over him comes into view. The blonde looks worried, eyebrows furrowed and pink lips in a thin line. Mika thumbs under his eyes wiping his tears, when did he start crying?, and then pulls him up into a warm embrace. Emerald eyes widen, then he's wrapping his arms around his best friend and burrowing his face into the blonde's chest.
"We'll always stay together right Mika?"
The blonde pulls away to look into the stunning eyes of his best friend. Mika grins, holding his pinky out and grabbing Yuu's hand to link their pinkies together in a promise.
"Always Yuu-chan..."
~~~~
An alarm goes off, blaring its mechanical beeps into the quiet of the room. Under a heap of covers a slender but toned arm pops out, blindly reaching for the source of the offending noise. The hand finally finds the clock after a minute of frustrated attempts and shuts it off with a hard slap to the top of it. A muffled groan comes out from under the covers, then are pulled back to reveal a very disgruntled and very sleepy looking man with hair the color of a raven's wings. Groaning, the man sits up rubbing his hands over his face and wiping any sleep in his eyes. He yawns and stretches his arms up over his hands, making incoherent gurgling noises.
He had another dream about his childhood best friend again. Even though that happened 12 years ago, he can still smell the grass, can still feel the heat from the other boy. He wonder's if he'll ever see the blonde again. The day after that night under the stars, the blonde told his best friend in the confines of Yuu's bedroom that he was moving because his foster mom's job promoted her and now she's going to work in the big city. Yuu remember's his heart stopping and his vision becoming blurry fast. He remembers his best friend dragging him into an achingly tender hug, which caused the raven to sob into the blonde's arms. He remember the whispers of his best friend promising that they'll see each other again some day, the blonde's voice thick, as if he's trying not to cry himself.
Sighing the raven drags himself off his warm, comfortable bed and into the ensuite. He grabs his toothbrush then brushes his teeth slowly and methodically. After cleaning his teeth he turns the tap on cold, cups his hands under the running stream of water, and bends over to splash the arctic water onto his face in an attempt to wake up. It works because the man jumps at the temperature and quickly grabs a towel handing on the rack above the sink. After patting his face dry he looks into the mirror above. His emerald eyes look tired but they hold some spark of excitement. Today was the start of his new teaching job. The principal at his old school thought he was such an excellent teacher that he told him he shouldn't be teaching in such a small town. At first Yuu refused to leave his beloved town but after many conversations with the principal he agreed to take the open position in Tokyo.
"It would be good for your future Yuu! Think about how much more you'll get paid!"
"But Guren-sama I like it here! I've lived here since I was a kid!"
The ebony haired man kept pestering him about the job until Yuu gave up and interviewed with the school's administrator to put a stop to the principal's pestering, and was surprised to get a call that he got the job.
The raven went to his closet and quickly began dressing in his new suit and bow tie because ties are for old boring men which he was not. After dressing in his suit he walks to his body mirror and checks his appearance. His suit jacket was a deep blue, the vest underneath the same, with his undershirt white to counter the blue. The jacket had one gold button in the middle which made the clothing hug his waist and the cufflinks were gold as well, and the vest underneath had only two gold buttons. His bowtie was a solid black, a little crooked but Yuu gave up trying to straighten it out. His trousers were the same deep blue as the jacket and on his feet he adorned....white converse. What? They're comfortable.
He tried his best to fix his unruly hair but eventually accepted that today is just not his day (it never is) and went to the dresser beside his bed to grab the watch that was given to him from Guren when he graduated from university. After putting it on he checked the time and it read that he was late.
Oh.
WAIT WHAT??
"Oh shit!", Yuu bolted out of his room and into the living room. He grabbed his backpack that he's had since college that he now uses as a suitcase, what? it's easier this way, and sprinted out the door. Then he's realized he forgot his keys and phone, and turns around to go back. He grabs both items and goes back out the door, this time remembering to actually lock the door to his apartment.
He sprints down the hallway into the buildings elevator's. Pressing the 1st floor button, Yuu waits impatiently nervously bouncing about, the only other person in the elevator giving him a strange look. He ignores them, focusing on how he was late for his new job and on the first day at that! How could he be so careless.
"I shouldn't hit it so hard..." he thinks to himself about his alarm clock, thinking maybe it's timing is off, or rather he thought did, he must've have said it out loud because the other person, a young woman with short, dark brown hair and friendly brown eyes, side eyes him a scoots slowly away from him. Yuu frowns but says nothing and when the light on the elevator signals that it's on the first floor, he rushes out the door.
He's literally sprinting through the city streets, bumping into several people along the way shouting out apologies but never stopping. He finally reaches the train station. His lungs are screaming at him and every inhale hurts. He scans his card and waits for the next train. While he's waiting the raven scans the crowd around him. He's really only doing it to pass the time and to try and calm his nerves. He looks around, seeing a girl with strangely purple hair talking to a man with shockingly familiar blonde hair. The man has his back to Yuu, but seeing the familiar crown of hair makes the raven's heart stutter. Could it be? He did remember Mika saying he was moving to a "big city". He can feel his heart begin to race and his hands feel clammy all of a sudden.
Yuu shakes his head to himself. No, it’s just wishful thinking. He still staring that when the next train comes, he jumps when he feels people around him moving to get on. He walks onto the train, looking around for the familiar head but slumping his shoulders in defeat when he doesn't spot it.
Maybe I was seeing things.
~~~~
The train finally arrives at its destination, coming to a halt making the passengers lean forward slightly at the momentum. Yuu scrambles off, trying to make his way through the bustling crowd. He jogs out of the station, whipping his head in different directions. Where the hell was the direction of the school again? He's pulls his phone out of his jacket pocket, swiping the screen to unlock it with his thumb and clicking on the email icon. He remembers the superintendent sending him an email welcoming him and giving him the school's address. He swipes through his email, frantically searching for the message.
When he finds it he sighs in relief. The raven clicks on it reading through it quickly, spotting the address he reads and rereads it, memorizing it. When he's sure he's got it down he looks around for the right street to start heading (well sprinting in his case) down. Emerald eyes spot the correct street and thus begins his sprint to his new job.
His lungs are actually on fire, he's sure of it. The raven can't even feel legs anymore, the pain of sprinting such a long distance turned into a numbing feeling, and his usually light backpack starts to feel like he's carrying a fucking rock on his back. Spotting a bakery and a street sign beside it, he makes a right turn continuing his journey. The tall buildings surround him like a concrete jungle, people cross the crosswalks in groups of hundreds; it's so different from the small town Yuu grew up in. The raven is sweating, there's no doubt about that. He can feel it trickle down the back of his neck, can feel it cooling on his face as the wind rushes past him as he sprints. Good thing he wore sneakers.
The raven sees the school building come into his view and he cries out in joy. He carries his exhausted body toward it, finally reaching the school's entrance. He hunches over, the backpack scooting forward with the movement, hands on his knees coughing and sucking in as much oxygen as he can, ignoring the burning in his chest. He hears a giggle from in front of him. He whips his head up and his eyes lock onto purple hair, the same purple hair he saw at the train station. His mind races, flashes of blonde hair and long legs suddenly fill his vision.
A petite woman with lavender hair pulled back in a loose ponytail is standing on the steps just in front of the door. She's wearing a white blouse, tucked into a mustard yellow pencil skirt. She must be one of the faculty. Emerald eyes suddenly widen at that thought and he shoots up, completely embarrassed to be seen in this state.
"Heheh, you seem like you're in a hurry? Are you a new student?", kind brown eyes glimmer with amusement. The raven sputters, holding his arms out in explanation,"Wh-what!? No! N-no I'm the new teacher! I'm just...running late." The raven hears more giggling, no wait this wasn't the sound of innocent giggling, this was someone snickering. Those eyes don't seem as kind anymore. He narrows his eyes at the lavender haired woman. "Ahhh, so you're the new teacher I'm supposed to be showing around today. Figures I get stuck with one who doesn't even know how to show up on time", the woman sighs pinching the bridge of her nose. Yuu clenches his fist, jaw tightening. He grits out,"I apologize for the inconvenience...."
"Shinoa. Hiragi Shinoa."
"Shinoa-san I apologize for my tardiness."
"Heh, well it can't be helped that you're so irresponsible. Looks like I have to teach you my wonderful ways!", the woman exclaimed cackling at the end.
"Hey! I was only 5 minutes late! Do you know how long it took me to get here?? And I had to practically sprint the whole time to get here! You should be-"
Yuu was interrupted with a hand being held up, and a predatory gaze directed at him. "Hyakuya-san, I would be careful talking to me in that tone. You don't want to get on my bad side. Now, come on you sweaty boy. Let me show around the school because of how kind and generous I am!", Shinoa laughed turning around and walking into the school not giving him a second glance.
The raven's mouth hung open in shock on both the fact that she already knew his name, and that such a petite woman could give him such a dangerous look. He stood frozen for a few seconds before the lavender's sentence suck into his head and he sprinted up the steps and into the building.
He doesn't think he'll get along with this woman.
~~~~
Yuu was sure he was being tortured. The superintendent must've found out about his tardiness and now he's punishing him for it. Yes, that made sense because what human being would put him with a woman with such a nasty personality if they weren't trying to punish or torture him?
Shinoa was relentless in her teasing with Yuu. She would show him a classroom or some part of the school then make a remark like,"Well if you can even remember where this is" or "Are you sure you're smart enough to be a teacher?". Yuu fought with every atom in his body to not make a snarky comeback.
They were heading towards the teacher breakroom, Shinoa saying he's probably not going to teach today because he needs to get familiar with the premises. The woman said something about second period starting soon and that she had to leave.
"I'm sure you can handle walking around by yourself right? Or do you need someone to hold your hand?", the woman snickered before walking out the room before Yuu could get a word in. The raven fumed in his spot beside a vending machine. He turned and kicked the inanimate object to release his pent up anger and frustration. A yelp filled the air.
"Shit that fucking hurt!"
Wincing at the sharp pain in his big toe, he limped slightly to a table and sat down in one of the chairs. He groaned and leaned his forearms on his thighs. The raven stared at his white converse, noting the smudges of dirt on the top and reminding himself to clean them when he gets home. He hears footsteps near the door and looks up to see a small man not much older than Yuu himself, standing nervously in the door frame. The man has chocolate curls and soft hazel eyes. He's wearing a grey suit with a dark grey and green striped tie. Yuu scanned the man, looking down at his feet seeing not dress shoes like he was expecting but black VANS. Quirking a smile, Yuu looked up to see the man blushing furiously.
"Umm, hello. I'm the new History teacher Yuichiro Hyakuya, nice to meet you!", the raven introduces genially walking up to the man and bowing in respect. He hears a choked sound and whips up to see the man darting his eyes at anywhere but Yuu. He tilts his head in confusion before the man finally makes eye contact with him, cheeks slightly less pink but pink nevertheless, and he sends him a wobbly smile and bows back.
"Oh! H-hello! I'm sorry to have disturbed you! I-I uhhh I'm Y-Yoichi Soatome. The..the uhh archery club coach and a-also the Home Eco-economics teacher! It's nice to meet you!", the brunette stuttered out, bowing the entire time.
The raven smiles at the man's quirky behavior. He thinks he's going to get along really well with this guy.
"Heh, you don't have to be so formal with me. I'm a teacher just like you. Also, I'm new so it would be nice to have one friend here", Yuu explains kindly.
Hazel eyes widen and the man, Yoichi, smiles brightly at that. "Y-yes! I mean, yes I hope we get along well!" Yoichi's face has gone back to its natural color, though his cheeks are still rosy. Yuu wonders if that's just how they naturally are.
"Hey, do you mind like showing me the History classroom? The woman, ahhh..Shinoa! She was showing me around but she never showed me my classroom", the raven asks grimacing at the thought of her.
Yoichi winces in sympathy for the raven, he's heard about the lavender haired woman's personality and harsh demeanor from his co-workers. Putting a hand on the raven's shoulder's, hazel eyes shine at emerald one's and he nods and tells Yuu to follow him. Small smile on his face, Yuu follows behind the tiny Home Ec teacher.
Finally someone is treating him with respect and their personality is great too!
Yuu wander's through the school halls with Yoichi, passing classrooms and looking into them as he passes, seeing the bored expressions on teenage faces. He swears in one classroom he saw one kid asleep. He chuckles at that.
The raven thinks about how big this school is compared to the one in his hometown. The building having at least two more floors than his old one. He smiles sadly, already missing his friends and co-workers back at his old job. He'll call Guren-sama tonight and tell him all about his day. The man is like a father figure to Yuu. Back when Yuu was a baby his real father up and left, leaving it only being him and his mother. Then when his mother died, he was put into a foster home, where he met Mika and they instantly clicked. Mika got adopted a year after Yuu came to the orphanage. Then not even 2 weeks after Mika got adopted, a woman, Azumi Nishimura, adopted him. He loved her, still does. He's so grateful that she took him in, but he'll never love her as much as he loved his mother.
Yuu shakes the depressing thoughts from his mind, just in time to see Yoichi stop and gesture to a classroom, sign above the door reading '3-B'. Ahh, so he was the second class and third years at that. Nodding in satisfaction he thinks about how third years are more serious about school, some of them are at least.
"Well, Hyakuya-san this is your classroom."
"I see, thank you Soatome-san! And you know since we're gonna be friends you can call me Yuichiro if you'd like", the raven suggests sparing a glance at the brunette. The man's face flushed and he began sputtering,"Uwah! Uhh...we-well that..that is! Okay, hah ahhh Y-Yu-Yuichiro!". Face bright red, the small man walked away quickly, mumbling to himself and then disappeared around a corner.
Chuckling to himself he walked into the empty classroom, checking it out. It was bigger than his old classroom that's for sure. He wandered around the classroom, glancing at the desks, the empty walls and tall windows. He made his way over to his desk, it wasn't old but it wasn't exactly brand new either. Long fingers ran across the top of the smooth wood, the raven smiled privately to himself thinking about tomorrow and how he'll actually be teaching here.
The ring of a bell startled him out of his daydream and the pattering of hundreds of footsteps echoed throughout the hallway. The raven walked to the door stopping in the frame, leaning against it. He looked out at the sea of students, seeing girls giggling with each other and guys laughing and shoving each other. One group had girl shoving a guy jokingly, causing everyone to laugh. He made his way through the students, being jostled slightly, the feeling similar to being at a train station. Then he was shoved really hard by a student, grunting the raven was flung forward roughly and his body collided with another. He was sure he was going to cause them to fall over before a strong arm wrapped around his waist and a hand grabbed his balancing them out.
"Whoa! Are you oka-….Yuu-chan??"
"Heh yeah I'm-oh my God....Mika??"
Familiar eyes with a color that rivaled the sea, stared in disbelief into emerald ones. Yuu couldn't form any words. His heart was pounding against his rib cage, his mind racing with a million things at once. He could feel his eyes prickle with tears and before he could get a word out he was wrapped in a bone crushing hug. He could feel Mika's body shaking and he probably wasn't any better. He wrapped his arms around the blonde's neck and buried his face in the nape of his childhood friend's neck, inhaling his scent. It hasn't changed, Mika still smells like fresh linen, like cinnamon...like home. Though now a muskier scent is present; it fills his nostrils and sends a pleasant shiver down Yuu's spine.
The blonde pulls away suddenly, looking into his eyes with watery blue ones, then drags him into his classroom and locks the door. The raven lets out a surprised shout at being pulled so suddenly. He looks to the blonde who's just standing near the desk, gaping at Yuu, looking at Yuu like he can't believe he's actually there. Like, he could disappear at any moment.
Mika's expression falls and he starts to sob into his hands. Yuu startles and swiftly makes his way over to the blonde, pulling him into another embrace. The blonde still has his face in his hands, sobbing uncontrollably, while the raven who is slightly shorter than the blonde, pulls the blonde's head down under his chin causing the taller to bend over a little. Yuu whispers words of reassurance, tears of his own rolling down his cheeks and into the blonde's soft hair.
"It's okay. I'm here, I'm right here Mika. I'm not going anywhere."
The raven's heart aches at the sound of his childhood friend's cries, but it also aches for another reason. He thinks it's happiness. Yuu knows there's more to it, but he doesn't dwell on that for now.
After minutes of reassuring and trying to comfort the blonde, the sobs turn into soft cries which eventually turn into silent tears. Mika pulls away once again from his best friend and looks into his eyes, those beautiful emerald gems that shine with adoration and longing. He smiles a wobbly smile at him, and cups the raven's face with both hands, causing his best friend's cheeks to pink, making him chuckle. Looking into those eyes he's loved and thought about for 12 years, he whispers "Yuu-chan, you're here. You really are here. I...you don't know how much I've missed you...".
Yuu smiles softly at his childhood nickname, and touches the hands cupping his face, thumb rubbing over the knuckles. "Mika, I don't think you know how much I've missed you. I was so lonely when you left. Then when you never called, I thought you didn't care about me anymore.." the raven trailed off, eyebrows knitting together, shutting his emerald eyes at the memory of him waiting for a phone call but never receiving one. Cerulean eyes widen after hearing this, "But Yuu-chan I did call? But every time I did, Azumi-san said you were off somewhere. She explained that you liked to be alone and would run off somewhere not coming back until dinner time. So I eventually stopped because I didn't want to disturb Azumi-san..."
Emerald eyes widened at the realization. Mika was right, he always went to lay on the small hill where him and the blonde would stargaze. Laughing guiltily, Yuu looked to his best friend, "Heh, ahhhh yeah. I'm sorry, I just...I didn't like being alone in my room. So I went to where we would always watch the stars. You know the little grassy hill near the river? That one...".
The blonde's gaze softened and he looked at Yuu with such fondness, the raven could feel his cheeks heating up and he averted his gaze and pulled the hands cupping his face away so the man before him wouldn't feel his blushing. Coughing awkwardly, Yuu rubbed a hand on the back of his neck, glancing at the blonde's attire he asked,"Sooo Mika. I see you're a teacher here?" The blonde chuckled at his best friend's obvious blush and answered smoothly, "Yeah. Literature teacher to be exact". The raven's eyebrows shot up in surprise.
"You hated anything to do with writing back when we were kids"
"Yeah well, I like teaching it weirdly enough. But what about you? History teacher. Really? You were always asleep when we had it back in middle school."
Yuu laughed at his best friend's response, eyes crinkling at the corners. He really did fall asleep but he came to enjoy it during university. When his laughter died down he finally took a good look at his childhood friend. The blonde was wearing a plain white dress shirt, the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, with a deep green buttoned suit vest over it and a silver tie tucked in. His dress pants were the same color as the vest and on his feet he adorned a pair of mahogany dress shoes. His hair was styled back, a few stray hairs falling around a handsome face.
He looks good. Like really good. Gulping, the raven blushed for the third time that day. Then he heard a chuckle and realized he was blatantly checking his best friend out. Not knowing what excuse to come up with, Yuu spat out the first thing that popped into his head.
"Why was I stuck with that Shinoa woman showing me around?"
Mika stared at Yuu for 3 seconds then burst out into laughter. Clutching his stomach, he held up a hand signaling he was almost done. Then he looked up and saw Yuu's unimpressed scowl and burst out into laughter once more. After a minute of the blonde's laughter filling the room, and so what if the sound made Yuu's stomach flutter, he was still laughing at him and he wanted to know why.
"Okay, if you're just gonna laugh at me I'll be going..." the raven announced acting as if he's going to leave.
The blonde's laughter ceased immediately and he grabbed the raven's bicep before he could go anywhere. "No. Don't leave, sorry I just. It's funny because she wasn't the one who was supposed to show you around but she insisted because she likes harassing the newbies", Mika answered giggling at the end. Yuu glared at the memory of that wretched woman.
"Okay yeah I can believe that. She was insulting me the whole time! Ugh, she was...what's the word? You know, someone who's like impossible to deal with?", the raven questioned trying to think of the appropriate word to call that beast.
"Insatiable?"
"Yeah! That word! Wow, you definitely are the Lit teacher here"
Chuckling softly, Mika pulled Yuu close with the hand that was still on the raven's bicep. Emerald eyes widening, Yuu opens his mouth to question the blonde's actions before being shushed with a long finger to his lips. Snapping his mouth shut, the raven looks to the blonde in anticipation. Mika wraps a lean hand around Yuu's waist and uses his other to tilt the raven's chin up. Their chests are pressed so close together, Yuu can feel the blonde's heartbeat. He's sure Mika can feel his heart racing but says nothing, not wanting to interrupt this intimate moment. He averts his gaze away, not wanting to drown in the sea that is Mikaela. He feels fingers turning his face forward again. He finally looks back, breath hitching at the sudden close proximity of those blue eyes. He sees himself reflected in that gaze and suddenly his body feels too warm and he flushes bright red, all the way to the tips of his ears. He sees the blonde's cheeks are slightly pink, but those beautiful eyes aren't looking at Yuu's but are directed at his lips instead. This causes the raven's eyes to flicker down to his best friend's. The blonde's lips are pink and full, practically the definition of kissable.
The thought should shock the raven, but oddly enough he accepts the thought. He thinks he's probably loved his best friend since he was 12. Smiling softly at the blonde, Yuu breaks the silence, two simple words.
"Do it"
Cerulean eyes snap up to meet an emerald gaze. Then those eyes are leaning toward Yuu, he can feel Mika's hot breath on his lips, and it has him shaking with anticipation. His eyes begin to flutter shut along with Mika's, there's a hairs width between their lips and the raven hears and odd clicking noise but thinks nothing of it. Mika tilts his head slightly, can feel the raven's unruly hair tickle his face, and leans forward to close the gap when-
A door slams open and an irritatingly familiar voice cuts through the air, "Oh ho! What do we have here!?"
The two males jump apart so quickly that if the sudden proximity of the two wasn't suspiscious enough, then the bright red and nervous looking faces sure was. Yuu groans in both embarrassment and annoyance at the sudden presence of the lavender haired woman.
"Hyakuya-san I didn't realize you were already so close to our dear Mikaela-san!", Shinoa smirks from where she's standing in the doorway, her brown eyes bright with mirth.
The raven face flushes an even deeper shade of red. How his face can turn such a color is beyond him. He glances from Mika to Shinoa. He turns to Shinoa with a glare. "He's my best friend! So of course we're close!", the raven settles on saying feeling like that was the appropriate response. It seemed to be because Mika practically beamed from where he was standing. Shinoa raises an eyebrow at that. She smirks knowingly at Mika, causing the blonde to 'tsk' and turn his head.
"Hmmm, well when you two are done "reuniting" you're needed in the Principal's office Mikaela-san", was all the lavender haired woman said before she took one last look at the two men, grinned menacingly at Yuu before shutting the door once more.
Yuu let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. He turned to look at Mika, seeing him glaring at the door. He smiled, the blonde obviously annoyed with the woman. Wait, wasn't she with him this morning?
"Hey, were you at the train station this morning with her?"
Mika turned, his glare disappearing once settling his eyes on the raven. He then knitted his eyebrows in confusion before answering, "Uhhh yeah? How did you know that?".
Yuu's face fell open with disbelief before he chuckled to himself. Guess that really was him. If he had just walked over there. God, he's so stupid. He walked toward the blonde, still chuckling and shaking his head at himself. The blonde's mouth opened to ask why he hadn't answered his question before he was interrupted with soft, warm lips pressing to his. Mika's eyes widened in shock but just as soon as they came, they were gone. He already missed the feeling. The raven, blushing furiously, smiled softly at him. Then he grabbed the blonde's hand and linked their pinkies together in a promise.
"From now on Mika, we'll always be together..."
Blue eyes filled with tears before the blonde nodded vigorously and choked out a small laugh, smiling a watery smile.
"Always Yuu-chan..."
