For Mother's Day, Luz and King decide to throw Eda a surprise brunch party after Luz explains the holiday to King.
Hooty, stretching his long, feathered neck in at random after hearing the two, decides to help them because of course he does.
Luz is on cake duty, King is down to set up the decorations, and Hooty?
Well, being the MENACE that he is, he wants the liven up the celebration with a little music. He coughs out some black shades and a pair of black headphones. DJ HOOTY IS NOW IN THE OWL HOUSE!!!
Once everything is set and ready, Hooty turns off the lights. He, Luz, and King then take shelter in their hiding spots and attempt to suppress their giggles as they await Eda's arrival.
Hooty: Be quiet, everyone. Including me. SHHH, whose making that noise? Oh, it's me again.
When the front door begins to open and Eda enters inside, the lights are immediately switched on as everyone inside hops out of hiding and excitedly greets her with the words, "SURPRISE! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!"
After a sudden jolt, Eda stood still. She blinked. The owl lady couldn't believe her eyes. Mother's Day was not a day she was familiar with, but being bombarded with hugs and gifts from her kids, along with the effort that was put into this party for her, made her smile and shed tears of joy.
She was truly loved by everyone who lived in her owl home.
