Elegance.
Flowing streaks of pastel color
Smooth and methodical whilst being uninterrupted
Silky even
Your hands, your skin, your body
Meticulous like a statuette
But overtime the aggravating details of your soul will come loose
Your armor of flesh will chip
You fear your sporadic heartbeat will be impossible to go unnoticed
So you hold it
You strangle it
You feel it writhing in your own rib cage
It is unbearable
It is earsplitting
Yet you continue to dig your fingers until suddenly the pressure gives way
You hear and feel the beat begin to slow and fade.
Until it is no longer
It is silent and elegant.
