Summary
When Alex realizes he is bisexual, he and his friends go out clubbing to get him a man. Henry has mixed feelings about this, considering the man he wants to find for Alex is Henry himself.
“Honestly, Hen, you don’t see it?” He asked.“The minute we walked into this place tonight, pretty much every guy in the place clocked you. Tell me honestly; how many guys have you already turned away tonight?”
Henry drained his glass, before answering. “There’s been a, uh, few, I suppose,” he stuttered. “I’m not interested in any of them. I only came because everyone is on a mission tonight to, as Pez put it, help you get a man, I believe.” Henry felt a curl of jealousy and tried to squash it. He looked longingly at the bottom of the glass, wishing for more alcohol to help him get through this conversation.
“That’s just it, Henry,” Alex said, his eyes shining with mischief. “How’s a man supposed to get plowed tonight when the hottest guy here is my best friend?”
Henry stared at Alex, the multicolored lights painting his face in blues, pinks and purples. Without thinking, he replied. “You could ask your best friend,” he heard himself saying over the music.
