Chapter Text

As Luffy is walking towards his new ship the thousand sunny Luffy hears Paulie call his name and he turns around and sees him running over to him, “I need your help finding Lucci and Kaku, I know that after everything they did to Iceburg and galley la, that I should hate them but” Paulie pauses unsure of how to continue. Luffy softly wraps his arms around Paulie’s torso, and feels Paulie slowly relax in his arms. “You still care about them and even if it was all an act for them, you genuinely care about them” Luffy finishes for Paulie and feels him nod his head as he’s buried his face in Luffy’s jet black hair.

“Zoro Paulie and I are going to look for pigeon guy and Kaku, you and Franky pack the thousand sunny with, enough food to last us until we reach the next island” Luffy orders his first mate. Zoro softly chuckles and nods his head as he, watches Luffy walk away with Paulie safe in his arms. “Aye captain”  After a couple of minutes Paulie leaves, Luffy’s arms and looks at Luffy with a raised eyebrow. “Have you ever met an assassin before this? Were they good people or have bad intentions, like Lucci and Kaku as well as the others.” Paulie inquires Luffy.

Luffy softly smiles as he remembers Vivi and looks at Paulie, “Yes I have met assassins before this, two out of the three I met were good and I befriended them and they helped, my crew and I in return” Luffy tells Paulie and sees him debate on whether or not, he should ask his next questions but decides he should, because he needs to know the answers. “Would you take any of the CP9 assassins in? And would you make them become good?” Paulie asks Luffy.

”I’m not sure yet if I’d take any of them in, but I wouldn’t make them become good if that, is what they want to do it’s purely up to them. I would try to give them back the freedom that was, stolen from them and show them that they’re made for better things” Luffy informs an impressed Paulie. A pained hiss is heard down one of the alleyways, and they quickly run into the alleyway and gasp in horror at what they see. Lucci who’s in his human form is shirtless with black and blue, bruises covering his chest and stomach while his lip is bloody and torn, he’s only wearing his midnight black suit pants. He’s chained to a wall by sea stone chains, and the wounds on his stomach have opened up, dark red blood spills down Lucci’s pale skin. “PIEGON GUY!” Luffy yells in shock as he rushes to Lucci’s side, completely ignoring Spandam who’s standing in front of the two cp9 agents, Paulie went to check up on Kaku.

Lucci tiredly looks at Luffy and sees him take off the backpack, he’s wearing and open it and takes out gauze pads and water as well as towels. “I know we’re enemies but I don’t want you to die, I’m not as skilled as the doctor on my ship, but I’ll do what I can alright?” Luffy asks Lucci and sees him hesitantly nod his head, and feels Luffy gently clean the bleeding wounds on his stomach. “Where did these bruises come from? Because I know they aren’t the bruises from my hits!” Luffy asks worriedly as he double tapes a gaze pad over, the wound on Lucci’s stomach making sure to tape all sides. “You’re right these aren’t from your hits, instead they’re caused by him” Lucci weakly gestures with his head behind Luffy, causing him to turn around and finally notice Spandam.

“Who the hell are you?” Luffy asks confused which makes Lucci even as weak as he is right now, smirk at spandam’s angry red face of Luffy not knowing who he is. Spandam glares at Luffy at the fact that he doesn’t reconize him. “ I am Spandam the chief of Cp9 who everybody loves and adores, I am the one who will be praised by my amazing leadersh-“ he’s cut off by Luffy who is now finished taking care of all of Lucci’s wounds, and is now laughing loudly. Luffy wipes away the tears from his eyes from laughing, and looks at Spandam. “Listen Lilac you’re delusional if you think that you’re adored and loved by the marines, and amazing leadership give me a break” Luffy rolls his eyes in annoyance. “The only one between you and pigeon guy is him because he knows how to work as a team and doesn’t let his ego take over like you do, it’s honestly insulting to him that you think you’re the best when in reality it’s him” Luffy defends and praises Lucci surprising Lucci and further angering Spandam.

Luffy looks back on Lucci’s shoulder and doesn’t see Hattori, so he looks above Lucci to see if he’s flying above his masters head like always but nothing, “Where is Hattori?!” Luffy demands of Spandam and sees him smirk. “Oh that ugly stupid bird I fed him to funkfeed, as a treat for hurting Nico Robin earlier” Spandam laughs and sees a murderous glare from Lucci and Luffy. “YOU DID WHAT!! YOU BETTER BE KIDDING OR ELSE, I AM GOING TO TEAR OUT YOUR HEART ONCE I AM, FREE FROM THESE CHAINS!!” Lucci snarls baring his fangs at Spandam.

Luffy sees a large white elephant slowly walk towards him, and opens his mouth showing a thankfully unharmed Hattori, Luffy carefully takes Hattori out of funkfeed’s mouth. “Good boy at least you know right from wrong unlike your master” Luffy says to funkfeed who hides away from Spandam, Luffy walks over to Lucci and gently puts Hattori on Lucci’s shoulder. “Much better it’s weird not seeing you two together” Luffy tells Lucci smiling at a shocked Lucci not expecting Luffy to save Hattori for him.

Paulie rushes over to Kaku’s side and sees he doesn’t have any, new bruises only Lucci does. “Wait why’re you still chained? These chains only work against a devil fruit us-“ Paulie’s dark brown eyes widen in realization and surprise. “You’re a devil fruit user awesome!! What power does your devil fruit give you?” Paulie asks an amused Kaku as Paulie breaks the sea stone chains with his bare hands. Kaku falls against Paulie’s strong toned chest and smiles at him. “Thank you for saving me and my devil fruit allows me, to transform into a giraffe hybrid and a full giraffe at will making me a Giraffe Human.”

Kaku’s smile vanishes when he remembers the teasing from Jabra. “Go ahead laugh and make fun of me like Jabra did” Kaku says to Paulie waiting to hear him laugh, at how stupid his devil fruit power is. “Why would I laugh? Giraffes are awesome! They have long strong necks and are so beautiful!” Paulie tells Kaku awestruck surprising him of how excited Paulie is because of him.

Spandam hears Jabra’s name mentioned by Kaku and has an idea. “You know strawhat Luffy there is another Zoan type, on Cp9 besides Lucci and Kaku an agent known as Jabra, he is the wolf zoan type wouldn’t it be better to bond with a wolf than a leopard?” Spandam smirks and hears Lucci let out a terrifying growl. Luffy looks at Spandam like he’s an idiot and puts the extra supplies, that he didn’t use back into his backpack. “You shouldn’t provoke him” Luffy tells Spandam and sees him glare at him again. “You provoke him!” Spandam yells at Luffy.

Luffy smirks at Spandam and looks him dead in the eye, “I can handle him while you on the other hand can’t, I am fully aware of how dangerous Piegon guy is but I’m not scared of him, he may be a murderer but he’s an amazing opponent to have. So your pathetic attempt to have me abandon him, won’t work plus I prefer leopards over wolves.” Luffy calmly states as he hears Paulie break the chains holding Lucci. “Now it’s time for his revenge for attempting to kill Hattori” Luffy says and giggles as he sees Spandam turn three shades pale. Luffy watches as Lucci shifts into his hybrid form and starts to walk towards Spandam, but there’s something off about Spandam’s behavior even though he’s obviously terrified, he has this smirk on his face as if he knows something Lucci doesn’t. “Go ahead and tear out my heart Lucci, get your revenge” Spandam yells at Lucci.

Luffy frowns as he thinks over how Lucci was an undercover agent for five years, he’s had to have a life outside of following Spandam’s orders. “Pigeon guy wait he looks like he keeping something from you, have you ever had unprotected sex?” Luffy boldly asks Lucci and sees Lucci think about his past hook ups. “Yes I have once in the very beginning of joining Cp9 why?” Lucci answers confused on where this is going. Luffy looks at Lucci with pain in his eyes. “What did Spandam say happened to the woman and the baby?” Luffy inquires fear in his voice. Lucci’s dark brown eyes widen at where Luffy is going with this. “He didn’t tell me anything just told me to focus on starting my job as a galley la shipwright” Lucci tells Luffy honestly.

Spandam laughs and looks at Lucci with a smug smirk on his pale face. “You’ll never know and there’s nothing anybody, can do about it!” Spandam sneers at Lucci earning a murderous glare from him. Kaku and Paulie frown hating that this bastard, is doing this to Lucci there has to be something that can fix this. Luffy sees that Spandam has a small transponder snail, in his bag and smirks. “Funkfeed I know that you’re scared of your master but if you go, retrieve his messenger bag for me I’ll make sure you find a new master who’s kind and loving” Luffy promises the large white elephant. Spandam Scoffs at Luffy’s offer. “As if that would wor- he sees Funkfeed think over his choices.

Funkfeed walks over to Spandam’s large beige messenger bag, and lifts it with his large trunk and gives it to Luffy. “Good boy funkfeed now go to Kaku’s side, so that you’re safely away from your old master” Luffy softly orders and sees Funkfeed do what he’s told. “You’re a controlling egotistical power, hungry coward of a man, you will never be the man that pigeon guy is. You stole their freedom and use them as tools, and even though they were trained to be used as tools they’re still human, they’ve probably never had anybody fight for them. I hope to change that starting with finding out what you did to his child and the mother!” Luffy growls at Spandam as he takes out the transponders snail from the messenger bag.

Kaku softly chuckles and looks at Lucci who’s watching Luffy his enemy, take control of the situation and also defend Lucci and him as well as the other agents. “He’s a good kid” Kaku tells Paulie who’s fondly smiling as Luffy tries to fix everything. “Yes he is he’s kind and selfless as well, as brave and fearless” Paulie says. Luffy presses the button on the transponder snail. “This is Monkey D Luffy listen carefully right now, it doesn’t matter that you’re the navy and that I am a criminal, Spandam the chief of CP9 has been hiding Rob Lucci’s possible child as well as the mother from him. I know that you’re not bad people and are just doing your job, so please help me find these two innocent humans, that are hopefully unharmed” Luffy pleads to the navy and hears sniffling on the other side of the call.

Phoebe one of the vice admirals wipes her tears from her eyes and sniffles, “Of course we will help you but since we’re the navy there has to be something you can do for us in return.” Phoebe tells Luffy who’s now sitting next to a human Lucci again. “Sounds fair alright then what can I, do for you while you search for the two missing people?” Luffy inquires as he rests his head on Lucci’s warm soft shoulder. “Well there is this magical feral snow leopard that your grandfather, vice admiral Garp tricked into following him into his office to play with him, but he underestimated how strong she is and is now hiding in the closet” Phoebe explains to Luffy who lets out a tired sigh. “Give me one moment” Luffy tells her before temporarily ending the call. 

Paulie and Kaku look at Luffy in pure shock at this new information, “VICE ADMIRAL GARP IS YOUR GRANDFATHER!!” Kaku and Paulie exclaim. Luffy sighs and nods his head as he leans more onto Lucci’s shoulder. “Yes he is he’s always wanted me to become a marine, while I always wanted freedom and adventure so naturally we fought over this multiple times” Luffy tells them and sees Lucci look down at him. “Did he train you while you were younger?” Lucci asks Luffy and sees him flinch as he remembers a memory. “If by training you mean fighting, him when I was not only very young and very small then sure training” Luffy tells Lucci.

Lucci and Kaku share a horrified look with each other at this information, while Paulie looks like he wants to hold Luffy in a tight hug. Luffy presses the button on the side of the transponder snail. “Alright Phoebe I’m back what happened, while I was gone?” Luffy asks her and hears her nervously laugh. “Well you see one of the new marines went to check on Garp and accidentally, let the feral snow leopard out and we don’t know where she is” Phoebe informs Luffy when suddenly Luffy feels eyes on him, and he looks into the dark alleyway and sees two gold eyes looking back at him. “Phoebe what makes this snow leopard  magical?” Luffy inquires her.

”This snow leopard is magical because once you touch your hands, with her paws you merge with her and become one, turning you into a hybrid. But she’s rejected everybody that has tried to bond with her, she is looking for somebody that’s brave and loving, and fearless and loyal and has a good heart” Phoebe tells Luffy as he watches as a large beautiful snow leopard, with its soft thick grey fur, with solid spots on her head, neck and lower limbs and rosettes over the rest of the body walks closer towards Luffy never taking her eyes off of him.

Luffy hands the transponder snail to Lucci and waits until the snow leopard is in front of him, he sees her lift herself up using her long thick fluffy tail, and feels a wet nose on his cheek, causing him to laugh and he hears a soft purr from her. Lucci softly chuckles and talks into the transponder snail. “She found Strawhat Luffy, now focus on finding the baby and mother” Lucci tells Phoebe before ending the call. The snow leopard sniffs Luffy and smells sunshine and tangerines, as well as smoke on him, and softly meows. “She’s wondering why you smell like cigarette smoke” Luffy hears from the opening of the alleyway, causing him to look up and see Chopper standing there.

Spandam chuckles as he notices the fear in Luffy’s eyes once he sees Chopper, “Oh my he must be one of your crew mates, it would be a shame if something were to happen to hi-“ Spandam is cut off by a angry roar from the snow leopard causing him to pee his pants out of pure fear. Luffy smiles at the snow leopard and softly strokes her furry head. “Good girl please keep a close eye on him, while I go talk to my ships doctor” Luffy asks the snow leopard and sees her nod her head, Luffy looks over at Chopper with panic in his eyes. “Why aren’t you with the others?” Luffy says as he sees Chopper walk over to him.

Chopper hugs Luffy’s leg and looks up at him with tears in his eyes. “I missed you you’ve been gone for three hours, I was worried something bad had happened to you” Chopper sniffles and feels Luffy softly hug him close. “I’m sorry I took so long a lot has happened recently, and I’m trying to fix things. I’m alright but Piegon guy isn’t I did what I knew how to do, but can you still check his wounds over please?” Luffy asks Chopper and sees him nod his head, Luffy looks at Lucci. “He’s a reindeer Not a raccoon, he will be very angry if you call him a raccoon” Luffy warns Lucci.

Lucci nods his head and sees Chopper carefully take care of his injuries, that were inflicted by Spandam. Luffy looks at the snow leopard. “I smell like cigarette smoke because my chef on my ship, smokes cigarettes and I’ve been around him for, so long the scent of it merged with my own scent” Luffy informs the snow leopard. “Meow meow” Chopper softly laughs. “She’s asking who would react the best, if you were suddenly and permanently a girl?” Chopper tells Luffy. Paulie chuckles as he already has an idea on who  the first person is, Luffy looks at Chopper with  a  mixed look of annoyance and amusement. "It would be Nami then Robin and Zoro and then, it would be piegon guy, Paulie and Kaku and Icepops and lastly Sanji” Luffy tells her without hesitation. Kaku looks at Luffy in confusion on why Sanji would be last. “Why would Sanji be last? and why is Lucci, the fourth person who would react the best?” Kaku asks Luffy.

“Because Piegon guy would be more amused at my new form, and curious to see what new things i would be able to do, while Sanji my chef who is a pervert would treat me differently, and flirt with me and attempt to sleep with me. So despite my history with pigeon guy I’d prefer to spend my time with him, while Sanji adjusts to me being a girl” Luffy informs Kaku and sees him nod his head in understanding. While Chopper takes care of Lucci’s wounds Luffy hears the transponder snail ring and quickly answers it. “Yes? Have you found them yet?” Luffy urgently asks Phoebe. “Yes we did but there are complications and we don’t know what to do about them” Phoebe answers Luffy who shares a look of fear with Lucci.

“Tell me what the complications are and, I will do my best to find a solution” Luffy orders Phoebe as his expression turns serious. “Well the mother is dead and one of the marines told me, that up until three hours ago the healthy five year old twin girls were being watched by, one of the , rookie marines. Until Spandam threw them into the jungle and left them alone to the wild” Phoebe tells a horrified livid Luffy who quickly shatters the transponder snail in anger.

The snow leopard smells Luffy’s rage and has an idea on what he wants to do, she walks over to Luffy and holds her paws up to him and sees him place his hands on her paws without hesitation, a bright silver light surrounds the two and once it vanishes standing in front of them is a beautiful young woman with soft long to waist jet black hair, that is tied into a high ponytail and she has soft supple sun kissed skin. She is wearing a white romper that holds her round perky bouncy boobs firmly and shows off her curvaceous body and small waist, as well as long strong legs finishing the look with white high heel boots.

On top of her head is two spotted snow leopard ears while a long thick fluffy tail angrily swishes behind her. Lucia looks towards Spandam with a look that promises pain, she walks up to him and as she’s walking towards him, she lets out her sharp claws and glares at him with her gold eyes. “This is for the innocent girls you put in danger!” Lucia tells him before she swipes her claws across Spandam’s, face her claws piecing through his skin and tearing the skin apart making dark red blood quickly flow down his face and leave behind claw marks.

Lucia sees Spandam fall to the ground and scream in pain as he holds his face, she looks down at him unbothered by what she just did. “It’s your own fault never mess with somebody’s kids” Lucia shrugs her shoulders and looks at Paulie who looks impressed, while Kaku looks amused. “Tie Spandam up and drag him to the galley la, company house and inform my crew that there’s a change in plan, and to meet me at the galley la company house” Lucia tells Paulie who nods and does what he’s told to do. “Lets go Lucci we need to find your daughters quickly” Lucia informs a shocked Lucci that she called him by his name, and nods his head as he follows after Lucia who is walking towards the jungle.

Chapter Text

Lucia and Lucci walk down the streets of water seven and towards the jungle that’s close to the bridge. “Ugh that asshole who in their right mind, throws two innocent children into the wild! Anything could happen to them, ahh I should’ve done more than claw his face” Lucia angrily huffs and hears Lucci let out a loud laugh, she turns and looks at him with a raised eyebrow. “What? What’s so funny?” Lucia asks Lucci confused. Lucci chuckles and looks at Lucia amused at how her bloodlust is effecting her. “You’re willing to kill for my daughters that, neither of us have met yet” Lucci tells Lucia who darkly blushes and shifts back to her human form. “Yes I am because they’re innocent children and the wild easily breaks you, it puts you in dangerous situations that you wish you had never been put in” Lucia says pain in her tone.

Lucci frowns as he hears his strong and fierce and optimistic opponent, sound so scared as if she’s reliving a memory and, doesn't want the girls to have to go through, what she went through, “We will find them and then I’ll kill Spandam, or as you call him Lilac” Lucci states amusement in his tone. Lucia smirks and shrugs her shoulder and looks at Lucci, “The nickname suits him plus given how big his ego is he needs to be humbled” Lucia says as she rolls her eyes. Lucci looks down at Lucia with a raised eyebrow. “Don’t I have an ego that’s larger than his?” Lucci asks Lucia and hears her giggle that sounds like soft bells. “Yes you do but you I can tolerate, but him on the other hand I want to break his jaw so he can’t talk” Lucia states with fire in her eyes as she remembers the pain, that this bastard put Robin through.

Lucci looks at Lucia with a confused look, “What made you assume I had one night stands?” Lucci asks Lucia who now has a dark pink blush, covering her face and she looks up at Lucci. “Well given that you’re a secret agent that works, for the government and is always busy training and on missions, it’s safe to assume you don’t want to get attached to someone. Because your enemies can easily use the person you’re dating as bait to lure you into a trap, and there’s always the chance that the person you’re dating will try to dig into your past” Lucia tells Lucci who looks shocked and impressed at how thought out her answer is, and it all makes perfect sense.

”You’re just full of surprises aren’t you” Lucci says amusement in his tone as he looks down at Lucia who giggles. As the two arrive in the large beautiful lush jungle, that has tall trees of coconuts, and bananas surround the entrance of the jungle. “We should gather some fruit for the girls, who knows if lilac fed them good food” Lucia tells Lucci before she goes to her hybrid form, and jumps up onto one of the tall trees that have bananas. “Ooh there is also pineapple and apple trees!!” Lucia excitedly exclaims causing Lucci to let a small smile grace his normally emotionless face.

Lucci hears footsteps approaching him and looks up and sees Jabra walking towards him. “I see you’ve found a new playmate I wonder how long this one will stay” Jabra cackles but before Lucci can open his mouth to say something, he sees a large heavy coconut fall onto Jabra’s head knocking him on his ass. “I’m not his playmate nor will I ever be yours” Lucia remarks in disgust as she jumps down from the tall tree, with her arms holding her bag full of different fruits.

Lucci laughs loud at how she hurt Jabra and how she’s easily handling herself, “Nice one looks like just like Lilac, he needs to be humbled as well” Lucci tells Lucia who walks towards him, and hands him her bag. “So who is this agent?” Lucia asks Lucci confused. “This is Jabra the wolf Zoan he’s always angry, that I’m stronger than him and have a better Zoan form” Lucci informs Lucia and smirks when he hears Jabra growl in anger.

Lucia looks down at Jabra who’s glaring at Lucci and she shakes her head, “It’s a miracle neither of you have killed each other, I mean seriously putting a leopard and a wolf on the same team, when it’s clear it’s a disaster waiting to happen and a horrible decision” Lucia states as she rolls her eyes in annoyance. “I swear it’s as if Lilac picked the agents, while he was wasted and drunk on power after being made chief of CP9” Lucia scoffs and hears Lucci laugh as she insults his ex boss. Jabra glares at Lucci more. “You just had to pick somebody, with an equally fierce personality didn’t you!” He angrily huffs.

Lucci smirks as he looks at Jabra who is looking at him with anger in his eyes. “It’s not my fault you can’t handle her” Lucci tells Jabra who looks at Lucia, with the idea to trick her. “You see I am Lucci’s long lost uncle and have deeply missed him, I have been searching years for him, will you please tell me where my nieces are?” Jabra asks Lucia hoping to fool her into believing him. Lucci and Lucia share a look of disbelief with each other.

Lucia walks up to Lucci and looks up at him with mischief in her chocolate eyes, “Can I please borrow Hattori? I’ll give him back once I’m done” Lucia tells Lucci and sees Lucci think over everything that’s, happened so far and how Lucia has helped him. “Yes but be careful he doesn’t like new, people it takes him awhile to warm up to people” Lucci warns Lucia as she holds her hand in, front of Lucci’s shoulder for Hattori to go onto. Hattori looks at Lucia unsure if he can trust her, she did hurt his master but she’s also helping him find his daughters.

”Coo coo” Hattori says as he looks at Lucia from his place on Lucci’s shoulder. “He’s asking  why are you helping his master, since you’re his enemy normally his masters enemies don’t care about what happens to him” Chopper until this point has been, hiding behind a large ginger flower tree. “Thank you Chopper… Chooper? CHOPPER!” Lucia quickly turns on her heel and sees Chopper walking towards her, from behind the ginger tree that covered his scent. “What are you doing here! I left you with Paulie and Kaku! Oh now I know how granny Kokoro felt when Chimney and gonbe snuck onto rocket man” Lucia groans and sees Lucci raise his eyebrow at her. “Rocket man?”

Lucia sees Chopper wrap his hooves around her left leg, and she looks up at Lucci. “Yes Rocket man it was the sea train that was built before the puffing Tom, granny Kokoro and icepops helped us get to enies lobby” Lucia tells Lucci and hears Chopper gasp as he remembers what Lucia did before, they helped her and her crew. “But before that Lucia argued with Paulie after he saved her and our crew from Aqua Laguna, she wouldn’t accept that we couldn’t get to Robin so she told Paulie she would steal a ship! The waves crashed beside her as if to show how powerful and serious she was” Chopper excitedly informs an amused Lucci.

”Desperate and determined were we?” Lucci chuckles as he sees Lucia’s face turn dark pink. “I couldn’t lose her so I had to be wild to get my point across” Lucia says and hears Lucci chuckle before he sees Lucia turn her attention back to Chopper waiting for a answer from him, “I was with them but I snuck away because I want to help, you find Lucci’s daughters plus since I can understand animals I can help you more that way. Please let me stay with you” Chopper makes his eyes big and pulls his lip down into the perfect pout and looks up at Lucia.

Lucci sees the moment Lucia gives in when she hears Hattori happily coo at the mention of being understood by somebody. “Alright you can stay with me but, I need to call Paulie so that he knows what’s going on” Lucia tells Chopper as she steps down on Jabra’s stomach as he tries to get up. “You and I aren’t done mutt so be a good dog and stay!” Lucia growls at Jabra causing Lucci to fondly chuckle at how easy she’s putting Jabra in his place. “Wow you’re incredible Lucia” Lucci states in awe causing Lucia to softly blush, as she takes out her mini transponder snail. “Thank you but let me call Paulie to let him know that Chopper is with us, and that he followed me” Lucia tells Lucci as she presses the button to call.

Paulie quickly answers Lucia’s call and his voice is filled with panic. “I LOST YOUR REINDEER DOCTOR I SWEAR HE WAS RIGHT NEXT TO ME, AND THEN HE WAS GONE I’M SO SORRY STRAWHAT!!” Paulie loudly exclaims causing Lucia to lean onto, Lucci’s bare muscular chest for support. “It’s alright Paulie he snuck away and followed Lucci and I, because he wants to help us find Lucci’s daughters none of this is your fault, my crew mates are very attached to me” Lucia reassures him and hears Paulie let out a sigh of relief. “Oh that’s good to know and the animal I’ve been petting to calm me down is helping” Paulie says to Lucia causing her eyes to widen, and quickly covers Lucci’s mouth with her other hand.

Lucia waits for Paulie to realize the only animal with him is Kaku, and hears the gasp of realization. “Oh sea I am petting Kaku.. wait why hasn’t Lucci said a smart remark yet?” Paulie asks Lucia who opens her mouth to answer, when she feels Lucci lick the palm of her hand, Paulie hears a surprised giggle escape Lucia as Lucci licks her palm more. “Because my hand is covering his mout- Lucci stop licking my palm it tickles!” Lucia giggles even more making Kaku amused and Paulie shocked. “Wow that’s very intimate and new for you two” Paulie says in surprise.

Kaku softly chuckles and looks at Paulie with amusement in his dark brown eyes. “Oh this isn’t the first time they’ve been intimate, Lucci fully shifted into his leopard form during, their fight and sank his fangs into strawhat’s shoulder” Kaku informs Paulie and can hear Lucia roll her eyes. “Ah yes marking me so others stay away how possessive of him” Lucia  sarcastically states and feels under her hand, Lucci’s lips form a smug smirk. “Wait Lucci bite you?!” Paulie asks Lucia and hears her huff in annoyance. “Yes he’s also punched and finger pistoled me as well and set me on fire, and tempest kicked me and much more, im the only who who could handle the strongest coldest sadistic assassin” Lucia tells Paulie making him confused on why she’s helping him after everything.

“Why’re you helping him then after what he’s done? I would think you would hate him” Paulie says to Lucia. “I understand why you think that and I don’t hate him, I’m helping him because he’s been surrounded by darkness his whole life the only good in his life is Hattori, just so we’re clear I’m not trying to change him instead im trying to give him a better life and im helping him because even though he’s my enemy he’s still human and the desire to find his daughters is real regardless if he’s a trained killer, those are his kids they come before anything else” Lucia explains to Paulie unaware that Lucci stopped licking her palm and now has his strong toned armed wrapped around her small waist.

Paulie leans against Kaku’s shoulder for support and softly sighs. “You’re right so anything else happen over with you two?” Paulie inquires Lucia and hears her angrily huff. “Yes we’ve run into a mutt who says, that he’s Lucci’s Long lost uncle and thought I was Lucci’s new playmate, which for the record with everything that’s going on in his life right now, a lover is the last thing he needs right now a friend is a better option” Lucia tells Paulie and feels Lucci rest his chin on her head.

Kaku’s eyes widen at the mention of a mutt which can only mean Jabra. “You’re right about that but who would want to join his chaotic life and become his friend?” Kaku says and can feel Lucia’s warm smile on the other end. “I would I originally thought that Lucci was awesome, plus he hasn’t fully burned the bridge between us, and I’m chaotic so I’ll fit right in” Lucia giggles and softly blinks as she hears Lucci start to purr, causing a soft smile to appear on her face. “We will meet you at the galley la company house” She tells him before ending the call, and putting her mini transponders snail in her pocket.

Lucci reluctantly lets go of Lucia and sees her turns her attention to Hattori and softly smiles at him. “You’re right I’m not like your master’s other enemies, I have a heart and see the good in people and I know buried within him there is still good. I want your help to see if Jabra is telling the truth or lying to me, will you please help me Hattori?” Luffia asks  him and sees Hattori think her question, over and  takes in the fact that she did get her master medical help and defended him, and saved his life as well. “Coo coo coo coo” Hattori chirps and flies off of Lucci’s shoulder and over to Lucia’s shoulder

”He’s saying that Jabra is lying to you and has no relation to Lucci, and that” Chopper pauses in translating and frowns, before continuing to tell Lucia what Hattori said. “Jabra is staring up at your boobs” Chopper tells an annoyed Lucia. “Chopper cover your ears and don’t uncover them until I tap your shoulder” Lucia says to her youngest crew member, and she sees him quickly cover his ears. Lucci sees Lucia turn towards Jabra and roughly kick him in the face, before leaning down and coming face to face with him. “Listen here you perverted mutt I don’t have the time, or the patience to deal with your bullshit so here’s what’s gonna happen I’m gonna kick your ass into the jungle and see how your survival instincts are” Lucia snarls at him before standing up and pulling back her leg, and kicks Jabra’s stomach sending him flying across the jungle.

She hears him let out a pained scream but merely shrugs her shoulder before turning towards Hattori, who’s back on Lucci’s shoulder. “Thank you for helping me you’re a good bird” Lucia praises Hattori before softly kissing his soft forehead, causing his white fur to stand up in surprise and awe. Lucci chuckles and looks down at Lucia. “Charming my pigeon are we?” He asks amusement clear in his tone. Lucia grins at him and innocently smiles. “Why Lucci do you want me to charm you instead?” She teases and giggles as she sees him lightly blush. Just as Lucia opens her mouth to say something to Lucci, Chopper gasps in shock. “Captain there are two small humans being chased by a bear, and they both smell like Lucci!" Chopper exclaims in shock. Lucia and Lucci share a look of horror with each other. "THE GIRLS!" They shout in unison as they run deeper into the forest with Chopper running with them.

Chapter Text

Lucia and Lucci run around the forest desperately searching for the two little girls, when Lucci sees Lucia suddently stop running and turns and looks at him. "I will shift into my full leopard form and search for the girls but I need you to stay with Chopper while I search for the girls, can I trust you to protect Chopper and can you put your trust in me to find your daughters?" Lucia asks Lucci as she slips her feet out of her high heel boots and she sees Lucci think over how she's already helped him so far, and remembers how protective and determined she was to help Galley La. "After so much you've done for me already Strawh- I mean Lucia you've earned my trust and respect, plus since you're gonna be helping me raise my daughter's it only makes sense we start calling each other by our given names" Lucci tells Lucia who softly giggles. "You're right.. Lucci and thank you for watching Chopper while I search for the girls he's very important to me" Lucia says to Lucci as she goes behind a tall apple tree to strip her clothes and fully shift into her full snow leopard form. Chopper sees a large beautiful snow leopard walk out from behind the apple tree her large long fluffy tail slowly swishing back and forth, her paws digging into the ground as she walks, he sees her stop walking and tilt her head to the side and hears her let out a loud scary growl before she runs and jumps onto the large dark brown bear. But before Lucia can go anything the bear throws her off of his body and through one of the large maple tree's, Lucci's eyes widen in shock but he knows he has thrown Lucia through rougher things so he slightly relaxes but not much since Lucia still hasn't made a sound yet and he lets out a sigh of relief when he sees her emerge from inside the maple tree.

He sees there is a trail of dark blood dripping from her mouth but sees that other than that she's unharmed and ready to attack the bear again, he watches as she jumps onto the bear again but this time sees her dig her sharp claws, into the bears chest causing the bear to roar in pain and sees the bear shake trying to get Lucia off of him. Lucia wraps her long fluffy tail around the bear's waist and moves to the bears neck and opens her mouth and uses her sharp canine teeth and pierces through the bear's neck killing it. Lucia pulls her claws out of the bear and uncurls her tail and jumps off of it and watches as it falls lifelessly to the floor, her once clean fur is now covered in dark red spots but she happily swishes, her tail and she hears soft clapping from Chopper and Lucci who are impressed by Lucia's first kill which earns them a soft purr from Lucia who quickly runs before the tree and shifts back to her human form and puts back on her clothes. Lucia walks out from behind the tree over to Lucci smiling even though her tan skin is covered in dry dark red spots. "Alright Lucci lets go find your daughters!" Lucia smiles as she holds her hand out to Lucci and feels him hold her hand as they go deeper into the forest and they find two young five year old twin girls hiding behind a large maple log, Lucia slowly walks towards the log but stays two feet behind Lucci because he is their father so he should be the first one who talks to the girls.

"Hello I am Lucci and I am your father and the beautiful young woman behind me is Lucia and the person next to her is her friend Chopper, and the white pigeon on my shoulder is named Hattori I" Lucci stops looking incredibly panicked and looks behind him at Lucia and sends her a pleading look for help. Lucia sends him a reassuring smile and walks next to Lucci's side and smiles at the two beautiful girls in front of her. "Hello I am Lucia as your daddy mentioned and he and I would love to have you live with him" Lucia tells the girls and sees the girl with her shoulder length ruby red hair tied in a high ponytail. "Miss Lucia would you be living with daddy and us as well?" She asks Lucia who softly blinks in surprise because she knows she is going to help Lucci, raise the girls but as in she would drop by Lucci's house when she could but if that is what the girls want then Lucci and her have to have a long talk with the crew before setting anything in stone. "We will have to see girls but first we have to get you out of the forest and washed and in fresh clothes" Lucia tells them and lets out a soft gasp as she feels both girls jump onto her body, and she feels the world tilt but even as she is falling she holds the girls close to her chest.

She blinks in confusion when she doesn't feel the ground but instead feels two strong arms gently pick her and the girls up by her knees, Lucia slowly looks up and is met with Lucci's dark brown eyes and sees his curved eyebrow looks concerned. "Are you alright Lucia?" Lucci asks pure concern in his voice which surprises and makes her happy since she didn't think he cared about her. "Yes I am alright you caught us before anything could happen to us, but don't blame the girls they're just excited to be getting out of the forest" Lucia softly reminds Lucci as she softly rests her head on Lucci's strong muscular chest, unaware that this small action is causing Lucci to purr from Lucia's trust in him. "Alright you are right oh we have to give the girls, names unless they already have them" Lucci says as he looks at his twin daughters who are comfortably laying on Lucia's body, and he feels his eyes widen in shock when he sees the girls shake their head indicating that they don't have names. "Why don't you and daddy both choose a name each?" The twin with her shoulder length ruby red hair styled in space buns suggests as she starts to play with Lucia's fingers.

Lucia looks up at Lucci with a warm smile on her face at the idea of being able to name one of the girls. "Are you alright with me naming one of your daughter's Lucci?" Lucia asks unsure since this is a huge thing that could either make or break, the girl she is naming which is a lot of pressure for her. "I am sure I know you will choose a good name" Lucci reassures Lucia who slightly relaxes and looks down at the twin girls who are looking at her. "Which of you wants me to name you?" She inquires the girls and sees the daughter with her ruby red hair styled in space buns quickly raise her hand. "I DO MISS LUCIA!" She excitedly exclaims earning a giggle from her sister and Lucia, and a fond chuckle from Lucci. "Alright then since your daddy's name starts with a L,  I will do my best to find you a name that begins with that letter" Lucia tells the girl as she softly kisses the girl's forehead making the girl softly smile at the small act of affection.

"Lets see how about the name Lexie for the lovely daughter with space buns" Lucia suggests and she hears Lucci open his mouth to give his name idea. "Lacey for the daughter with a high ponytail? Rob Lexie and Rob Lacey what do you girls think?" Lucci and Lucia ask in unison afraid that the girls won't like their names suggestions and are relived when the girls both smile brightly at them. "We love our new names!" They happily exclaim as they slowly close their eyes and fall asleep on Lucia's boobs. Lucci watches as Lucia softly kisses Lexie and Lacey's foreheads and sees her look up at him. "Just a heads up my crew defiantly aren't going to be happy to see you, given your history with them and what you almost did to Robin and Franky and me" Lucia warns Lucci and hears him softly sigh and starts walking towards the direction of Paulie's scent that is leading towards the Galley company house. "Honestly before I found out about my daughters I wouldn't have cared but now that I've met them, Lucia they're innocent and I want to protect them but all my life up until now has been murder and working for the government, I don't know how to do anything else what if I screw them up?" Lucci asks fear coating his deep voice.

Lucci feels a soft rubber hand gently caress his cheek and notices that Lucia is looking at him with a soft smile on her face. "Lucci the fact that you're worried about screwing up your daughters shows that there is still good in you, it is just buried but I will help you bring it to the surface and you will have to do things that would disgust who you were before Lexie and Lacey. Are you willing to improve yourself for them and learn how to be a better person?" Lucia inquires Lucci and patiently waits since this isn't something that can be decided quickly, so she lays her head back on his strong muscular chest and looks down at Chopper whose following them. "I know the crew is going to be surprised at the events that are about to happen, but what are your feelings on me helping Lucci raise his twin daughters?" She asks Chopper and sees him think over how Lucci has become softer since being around and finding out about his daughters. "I think it is a very good idea captain and even though you will both make mistakes along the way, when raising the girls you will learn from your mistakes" Chopper says and smiles at Lucia as they meet Paulie and Kaku at the door of the company house, Lucia hears Spandam's mouth is covered but his eyes are filled with fear when he notices Lucia is in front of him.

"Aww look Lucci he remembers me" Lucia smirks at the fear she's put in lilac and hears Lucci chuckle. "He should've known better then to mess with you, I mean you would think your chaos at enies Lobby would show him that" Lucci shakes his head and gently places Lucia on her feet and feels her softly hand him Lacey the twin with her ruby red hair in a high ponytail. "I would hand you Lexie as well but she has made my boobs her pillow, and she won't let go" Lucia softly giggles and holds onto Lexie so that she doesn't full and sees Lucci do the same with Lacey, Lucia turns her attention towards Kaku. "Meet Lexie and Lacey Lucci's twin daughters He and I named a daughter each" Lucia explains to Kaku who has a soft smile on his face as he looks at the girls in Lucia and Lucci's arms. "They look beautiful I wish I could be in their lives" Kaku admits sadness in his smile now and doesn't notice Lucia and Lucci share a look with each other, before Lucia walks over to Paulie with Lexie.

"Of course you will be in their lives Kaku we have grown up together ever since joining Cp9, I just don't know if the others will feel the same way you do" Lucci voices his concern on the matter and sees Kaku is reassured by his words, but is worried for Lucci since he knows Lucci is right the others might not feel the same way he does. "Well you'll always have me and if you mend the bridges with Galley La you will have them as well" Kaku tells Lucci and gives him a knowing look. "It seems your daughters are already smitten with Lucia but is their daddy smitten with her like they are?" Kaku teases Lucci and a amused smile spreads on his face when he sees his friend who normally doesn't show emotion turn dark pink. "NO WAY!! THE FAMOUS LUCCI SMITTEN OVER A NEWLY SHIFTED STRAWHAT CAPTAIN!!" Kaku loudly exclaims and feels Lucci's large hand cover his mouth and sees him glare at Kaku. "Could you be anymore louder!" Lucci growls at kaku who is unphased by this and is more focused on the fact that his friend cares about something else aside from just Hattori
